OMG: The signage behind Trump at his so-called affordability event today reads "LOWER PRICES" and "BIGGER PAYCHECKS"

Trump's strategy to counter his disastrous handling of the affordability crisis is to just ... lie about it.

This is a gift to Democrats.[image or embed]

That's his strategery about most things... Just Lie About It.

Because Trumpers will believe whatever he says.

How many other casinos will Trump deny lack of affordability in?

Lots of them have stopped believing this year. Unfortunately he still has 3 years to cause a lot of damage.

We REALLY need a way for the American people to replace a president - like petition-initiated recall elections. And the office has FAR too much power, three branches of government is NOT sufficient.

My cousin tried the ole "Gas is under $2 per gallon."

I asked where that was.

His answer, not in NYS because of the taxes.

I again asked where.

He could not answer the question so he just called me a stupid lib.

I told him to report to Dementia Don's doctors if he sees any polyps when his head is up Donny's ass.

Trump's wildly self-absorbed, cringeworthy whiney, sadly embarrassing performance before some folks in that ballroom at a hotel/casino up in the Poconos was just a warm-up for the latest in his by now almost predictable nightly mental breakdowns on social media. Here's a sample of that therapy session:

"In addition to all of that, I go out of my way to do long, thorough, and very boring Medical Examinations at the Great Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, seen and supervised by top doctors, all of whom have given me PERFECT Marks " Some have even said they have never seen such Strong Results. I do these Tests because I owe it to our Country. In addition to the Medical, I have done something that no other President has done, on three separate occasions, the last one being recently, by taking what is known as a Cognitive Examination, something which few people would be able to do very well, including those working at The New York Times, and I ACED all three of them in front of large numbers of doctors and experts, most of whom I do not know. I have been told that few people have been able to ace' this Examination and, in fact, most do very poorly, which is why many other Presidents have decided not to take it at all."

Key voting bloc boosts Obamacare to highest approval ever as Congress battles over soaring costs: poll
www.foxnews.com

... The steep partisan divide in Congress over the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, reflects a similar rift among the public -- except for when it comes to independents.

Despite the program's climbing costs, 63% of respondents with no party affiliation hold a positive view of Obamacare, according to polling released by Gallup on Monday. It's a finding that's helped drive the program's overall approval to new heights even as lawmakers struggle to find answers on making it more fiscally sustainable. ...

... President Trump mocked the word "affordability" and touted how high the stock market had risen. ...

If "affordability" is not a problem, then why did Pres Trump spend so much time rambling about it.

Among is ramblings was something like, ~if affordability is a problem, there's an easy solution, just buy less stuff.~

From the cited article...

... But if he was supposed to launch a speaking tour to connect with Americans struggling with higher prices and stagnant wages, President Donald Trump didn't hesitate to veer off course.

He mocked the word "affordability," touted how high the stock market had risen and said Americans didn't need so many pencils ...

Trump also returned to a comment he made earlier in his presidency, saying that Americans needed to go without.

"You know, you can give up certain products. You can give up pencils," he said, suggesting that he was focused on promoting American-made steel while China was focused on providing multiple pencils to its citizens.

"You always need steel. You don't need 37 dolls for your daughter," he said. "Two or three is nice, but you don't need 37 dolls. So, we're doing things right. We're running this country right well." ...

@#9 ... PEDO DONNIE is insane ...

imo, "insane" may not be the correct description.

Maybe something more along the lines of "deteriorated" or "deteriorating?"

But, in general, I do agree with your opinion, i.e., Pres trump's seems to have issues in his elected task of representing all Americans, moving all of America forward.

Two or three is nice, but you don't need 37 dolls.

It's not the dolls; its the food, rent, utilities, the things that are basic survival needs. We'd haven't even gotten to insurance for anything, much less health.

Agreed. 100%.

And that is why Pres trump, and his billionaire Cabinet, seem to be so detached from the Americans they should be serving.

Funny that only eleven months in to his second term, people are taking a hard look at Trump and realizing that he's fatally stupid, mean, and corrupt. Strangely, just like he was in his first term.

Some people really need to get over their bigotry towards brown females, y'all.

Did anyone actually expect Trump to acknowledge or empathize with something he doesn't care about at the expense of something that's increasing his wealth (on paper, at least)?
