A now viral video appears to show an Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) agent bragging about his salary on X.

The ICE agent replied: "I love my job, thank you. I can't believe I get paid for this. I'd do this for free."

Then a female voice behind the camera is heard asking the ICE agent how much he gets paid. She said she's a physician's assistant.

"How long did you go to school for that?" the ICE agent said. "I went to high school, and I make $200,000."

So, we take the embittered bottom of the barrel, pay them well beyond what they're actually worthwhile handing them weapons and zero accountability...

Sure, what could possibly go wrong with that?

I confess I'm a little surprised Donny Bonespurs hasn't pulled the Insurrection Act trigger by now. I'm also surprised the locals have so-far avoided providing him with any plausible reason to do so. Resist.

MPD is out in force protecting ICE facilities. Also MNNG is going to support MPD. So deflects Trumps need to "pull the trigger".

Good reporting, thanks for the info. First article I saw this morning, and it, I suspect, helps me understand the dark "devotion to duty" that ICE agents exhibit. Brownshirts, by the way, tend a short time at the top, and then they are disbanded in dishonor.
