... Bad Bunny says he's approaching his highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance with a mix of excitement, gratitude and perspective. "To be honest, I don't know how I'm feeling. There's a lot. I'm still in the middle of my tour. I was just at the Grammys last week. All of that," he said in English on Thursday at a press event hosted by Apple Music. He walked out to his 2017 single "Chambea." "I'm excited, but at the same time, I feel more excited about the people than even me " my family, my friends, the people who have always believed in me," he said. "This moment, the culture " that's what makes these shows special." Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican superstar born Benito Antonio Martnez Ocasio, is one of the most-streamed artists on the planet. He will take the Super Bowl stage just one week after he won album of the year at the 2026 Grammys for "Deb Tirar Ms Fotos." It's the first time an all Spanish-language album has taken home the top prize. ...

Fans race to learn Spanish before Bad Bunny's Super Bowl half-time show www.theguardian.com
... Bad Bunny is expected to perform the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday entirely in Spanish -- which has inspired fans to quickly learn the language. In October, the Puerto Rican singer -- born Benito Antonio Martnez Ocasio -- kicked off the 51st season of Saturday Night Live expressing pride over the achievement in Spanish, after which he said in English, "If you didn't understand what I just said, you have four months to learn!" That declaration further stoked the anger of some conservatives who have vilified Bad Bunny for speaking out against US president Donald Trump's anti-immigrant policies. The singer canceled the US portion of his tour last year out of fear that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would target his fans. There has been a frenzy online of people posting about Bad Bunny lyrics, including Puerto Ricans explaining slang used by the singer and non-Spanish speakers documenting their journey to learn Spanish. Anticipation for his half-time performance has only intensified since last weekend, when his album Deb Tirar Ms Fotos became the first Spanish-language album to win the Grammy for album of the year. He did not shy away from addressing targeted federal immigration operations at the awards. ...

No one is learning Spanish for the Superbowl halftime.
Hell the Olympics started and no one is mentioning it
All the old traditions don't matter any longer.
West is raised on its own petard.

Possibly because the NBC network seems to be claiming the rights to mentions of the Olympics?
From what I watched this evening, a local, non-NBC TV station seemed to say during their sports segment that they could not show any video because NBC would not allow it.

So far, NBC seems to have not had the need to bow to Pres Trump.
NBC seems to be saying, ~hey, we own the video rights~ so you are not entitled to showing videos of that news.
