How many people watched Turning Point USA halftime show?
www.cincinnati.com

... The "All-American Halftime Show" drew as many as 6.1 million concurrent viewers on Turning Point USA's YouTube Channel, The Athletic reported. The Neck Bleeder Special had half the audience of the Puppy Bowl, and 80% of that was bots. Complete and utter humiliation for MAGA.

While I will state that I am still waiting for the actual numbers, instead of estimated numbers, I do agree that Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl event seems to draw an audience rivaling (I'm being kind) that of Turning Point's half-time show.

Didn't watch the TP show, and had the regular SB broadcast on. I was writing code at the time and half paying attention... I didn't really pay to close attention. The main review during the show was from my mother in law..."ugh why does he have to keep grabbing his crotch"

The set design seemed odd for the live audience, half the performance had to be blocked from view by the tall grass.

Why would the NFL give out ratings, wouldn't that info come from NBC? (and all their assorted streaming services)

"Why would the NFL give out ratings"

Why would Toyota say they're ranked #1 by Consumer Reports? They should have just asked Toyota.

Actually I just looked it up and Subaru is ranked #1 for new cars in 2026. In case you were thinking of transitioning.

It was an amazing and uplifting show. It was a celebration of Puerto Rican history, a history of a people that have been American citizens longer than Trump's ancestors have been American citizens.

Unless you're stupid, you could follow along, without knowing a lick of Spanish.

If West Side Story was released now, MAGA would call it racist, and part of Great Replacement Theory.

show was a little long....but Superbowl halftime shows are always too long for me.

It was good. The grass had to hide the show in part.....unless you were watching the monitor.

Incredible that there is so much cr@p about Bad Bunny and the halftime show.

I never heard of him before all the uproar.

Anyways, my wife and I played cards during the Superbowl.

I was the big winner, luckily. I got good cards all night and we listened to music.

Driving home, we heard on the radio that the Seahawks won and the PK made five FGs.

Was he the Superbowl MVP like Adam Vinatieri two decades ago for the NE Patriots?

That's what real NFL fans used to discuss, not the stupid half-time show.

The second thing fans may have discussed was the funniest or most memorable TV ad. Like a Masterlock getting shot with an elephant gun and still functioning.

That's probably just the zoom lens foreshortening things.

Desi Arnaz revenge.

TPUSA was boring.

I kept switching back and forth. Ricky Ricardo is finally popular.

The OG rap show at So-Fi was killer.

Kid Rock is the type that plays at casinos.
On Tuesday afternoons.

It was a forgettable show by a forgettable artist that delivered very little of its promises. I was excited that he kept saying this was a unifying event. That he was going to use the forum to show unity and to embrace our differences (his direct words). Instead, he delivered a show that only served to show the history of a land with about 1% of the population of America and to show off his gyrating dancing skills.

Overall, it wasn't any better or worse than any other average show. Problem is, it was all in Spanish which inherently doesn't serve to unify anyone since the large majority of the audience was not able to understand him. His words may have been the most prophetic, most resounding and capable words to unify this country but very few would even know.

When I saw them prepping and saw so many people dressed as plants, I thought it was going to be an amazing visual spectacle. Instead, I barely even noticed anything from that aspect of the show. Being objective, it wasn't a good show and it wasn't a bad show. The only people who thought it was a good show are those with a liberal agenda (who are still trying to justify it was a good show by making things up like "you didn't even have to know Spanish"...yes, yes you did and it's not even arguable) and the only people who thought it was a bad show are those with a conservative agenda (who hates anyone that even uses any hint of non''Murican English and judges without even at least watching first).

If you actually judge by vocal talent, dancing talent, and a unifying message he promised...it fell short. But, even without being able to understand the words, it was still better than some I've seen recently so I wasn't mad at it. I just hate that it wasn't in any way what he promised. Which means it was all for views and marketing. Very much like The Weeknd performance that he tried to lead up to all year by staging costumes and such (which was awesome and I really loved he had it planned for so long) but then fell incredibly flat in the actual performance.

Right-wing America got its chance to put on a show that they said represented real America. It would be way better than Bad Bunny. And the best they could do was Kid Rock and some other nobodies.

It sucked. Pre-taped and they still messed it up. A measly two hundred people in the audience. The Super Bowl halftime show was a national and international event. The Turning Point halftime show was some live stream. Who's going to be performing next year? They've got no one else!

So you don't like Spanish. Boo hoo. Millions of Americans speak it, but you believe it shouldn't be sung at a halftime show just one time in sixty years? Grow up.

Prince's Super Bowl halftime show is my 1B to JT & Janet Jackson's 1A performance.

Bad Bunny was decent, but there are plenty decent performances over the years. Eventually the decent performances meld together in a category of decentness: Maroon 5, The Eagles, the Weekend, etc.

Beyonce - above decent!

Seattle's 29-13 victory over New England averaged 124.9 million viewers across NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, NBC Sports Digital and NFL+, according to Nielsen's Big Data + Panel ratings announced Tuesday.

Bad Bunny's halftime performance averaged 128.2 million viewers from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern, (or 3.3 million more viewers than were watching the Super Bowl) according to Nielsen. That figure ranks as the fourth most-watched Super Bowl halftime show, trailing Kendrick Lamar in 2025, Michael Jackson in 1993 and Usher in 2024.

Global viewership figures for the halftime show are expected to be released early next week. Current stats on consumption of Bad Bunny's halftime show reached 4 billion views in the first 24 hours, a 137% increase over last years.

... lip-syncing a song, and doing poorly at it.

But that just looks to be reflective of MAGA embracing those who seem to be incompetent in what they do.
