More from the cited article ...

... "We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait. We welcome the commitment of nations who are engaging in preparatory planning," they said in a joint statement. ...

@#2 ... our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts ...

What does that mean?

It does mention the UAE and Bahrain. Qatar might think that Bribe Force One was enough.

"We call for an immediate comprehensive moratorium on attacks on civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas installations," the countries added

LOLO

They will be right on board once Piggy figures out how to solve that little conundrum

Magat scum truly are despicable.

As much as NATO's Article V.

@#6 ... As much as NATO's Article V. ...

Yeah, but, NATO's Article 5 is about defense, not offense.

Pres Trump is begging for help in his unprovoked war with Iran. But Pres trump is on the offense here.

Pres Trump attacked. The United States was not attacked.

So, from what I see, NATO's Article 6 does not apply.

Yep, My point was more they will contribute "as they see fit". Might be a lot. Might be nothing.

Yeah, there is that aspect as well.

Pres Trump did not ask our allies to board his plane when he started on his Iran trip, but he now expects our allies to be present on the plane as he is trying to land it?

He seems not to care. It seems that he plans to just walk away to take on Cuba, and let the Iran gig work itself out.

[Verse 1]
I know you're bitter, but why, why, why?
Don't you know that two wrongs don't make a right?
It's not that simple, no
It's not that simple

[Chorus]
But everybody's trying to figure it out
Everybody's trying to work it on out
Everybody's trying to figure it out

If, and that's a BIG if, this ends successfully, we will need to put Twoothy on a suicide watch. He's so emotionally invested in this being a failure that I have concerns for him if he doesn't get his wish. He's a completely horrible person. Truly vile. Nevertheless I don't want him to off himself.

You know what's funny jeff, is I am right FAR more than I am wrong with my predictions.

I only comment on subject that I am confident in my knowledge.

I have been posting the consensus of numerous (majority) of experts in the applicable topics who say the Iran war is an unmitigated disaster that is getting worse by the day.

------- trolls like you can only muster a modicum of tepid criticism against Piggy, because you're scum and want to position yourself for the rare "I told you so" when a Piggy policy actually succeeds.

I would LOVE to be wrong, but you or any of the piggy -------- cannot counter with ANY argument of even slim logic that this war is anything but a catastrophe.

Again, I would LOVE to be wrong, because that would mean all of the coming disaster that will harm me and my loved ones doesn't come to pass

But I am not wrong, my argument IS reality. The counter arguments are weak.

And keep in mind it may be the next 48 hours that decide the next century if Piggy can be believed. Iran won't open the strait meaning he will destroy their power plants which means Iran will retaliate against the gulf countries' oil and water, which if their successful means the collapse of several countries, because the rely nearly completely on desalination plants. Destroying a 1/4 of the world's oil production will have catastrophic effects that will last decades.

Piggy drew a red line in the sand.

It is scary and sad that our best hope is Piggy is lying or Tacos.

It is my deepest hope that he tacos, but I doubt he will given Israel and the US have already attacked Iran's oil production and just yesterday (or the day before) attacked Iran's nuclear plant.

Netanyahu and Piggy are insane.

Iran's Official Response to Piggy's threat

"However, if the United States carries out its threats against Iran's power plants, the following punitive actions will be taken immediately:

"The Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed and will not reopen until our damaged power plants are rebuilt.
"All power plants and the energy and informationtechnology infrastructure of Israel will be widely targeted.
"All similar companies in the region that have American shareholders will be completely destroyed.
"Power plants in regional countries hosting US bases will be considered legitimate targets."

One very very minor positive is they seem to have taken the desalination plants off the target list so at least MILLIONS won't die of thirst.

Again, while the Iran regime is vile, it should be believed. They have consistently responded in kind and fulfilled their threats.
