Repug Claims U.S. Won The Vietnam War

Rep. Rich McCormick (R-GA) claimed on Tuesday that the United States "won" the Vietnam War while arguing that putting boots on the Iran would bring the conflict to a swift end. McCormick joined Newsmax host Todd Starnes on Tuesday to discuss, among other topics, the ongoing military operation in Iran and the controversial option of putting U.S. troops on the ground to end the month-long conflict. We were horrible in Afghanistan and Iraq until we did surge ops, and then we won. We were horrible in Vietnam until we did Thunder One" Rolling Thunder One and Rolling Thunder Two, and then we won.

This "officer" sold his soul to the Republican Party and Dummkopf Trumpf, otherwise why would Rep Rick McCormick (R-GA) blatantly lie like this and want our brave young men and women to assault and seize Kharg Island where they will be exposed to daily drones, rockets, and missiles?

BTW: The song that AFRTS broadcast to "signal" US personnel to evacuate Saigon was "White Christmas," similar to the Russians that would air "Swan Lake" on the radio or TV as a "signal" or shibboleth.

The evacuation was a nightmare for many trying to get to their designated points or drive away.

The river was the best way to leave Saigon, but apparently many evacuees didn't consider it: virtual-saigon.net
