Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, April 15, 2026

"Pam Bondi refused to show up for today's Oversight deposition " defying our lawful subpoena," [Rep. Jasmine] Crockett wrote on social platform X. "We couldn't care less that she was fired from her job as Attorney General. She is responsible for leading the White House cover-up of the Epstein files. Since she didn't show up, Oversight Democrats will move to hold her in contempt of Congress. The survivors deserve justice -- and we will get answers. Enough is enough."

Pam Bondi didn't show up for her hearing today, despite our subpoena. We're going to begin contempt proceedings. It's time to hold these people accountable to the laws we passed in Congress.

"Bondi and the DOJ writ large faced criticism from lawmakers on both sides of the aisle for its delayed release of files related to Epstein in accordance with a law that compelled the department to make them publicly available.

Victims of the late sex offender also slammed the DOJ for redacting the names of individuals connected to Epstein and publicizing their own information.

"This subpoena applies to [Bondi] regardless of her title," Garcia said in a statement.

"She must appear before the Committee, and if she continues to ignore the law, Oversight Democrats will move forward with contempt proceedings immediately. We will fight until there is true accountability and justice."

If the Clintons can come in and testify, so can Ms. Blondi. Send the Capitol Police out to enforce the subpoena. Drag her in, and let's all hear her take The Fifth Amendment at the first question from a Dem on the committee...

What is she afraid of?

So arrest her as a "Just a Citizen" would be for contempt, and force compliance.

She no longer holds public office and needs like Clinton testify.

A congressional subpoena that is ignored is taken to a USDJ for enforcement.

To compel testimony, that USDJ authorizes Deputy US Marshals (DUSMs) to enforce the subpoena.

Years ago DUSMs arrested Steve Bannon for Contempt of Congress.

Who will arrest her? Trump's DOJ? So that trump can immediately pardon her?

When will people realize the rule of law is dead? It died when biden and garland refused to prosecute fascist coup plotters.

There are plenty of Democratically-appointed USDJs in Washington DC.

Her Honor USDJ Beryl Howell, the daughter of a US Army officer, is but one.

The nefarious Trumpf junta can't stop court-ordered DUSMs from enforcing the nationwide subpoena against Pam Bondi.
