Authorities recovered more than 30 guns at suspects' residences, FBI says Law enforcement seized more than 30 guns, including numerous pistols, rifles and shotguns, as well as a crossbow while executing three search warrants at residences associated with the suspects in yesterday's shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego, said Mark Remily, the special agent in charge of FBI San Diego.

That the suicide note wasn't released, and at the time of my posting the article was still on the back page.
Now that its been released we know they Hated Trump, Muslims, Jews, and everyone else. These boyz were crazy, didn't hate muslims but hated Islam..
I am even under the impression, given they hatred of actual jewish people, they thought the mosque was a synagogue.

The two teenagers who attacked the Islamic Center of San Diego on May 18, 2026, killing three people, expressed sweeping hatred for Muslims, Jews, Black people, Hispanic people, and the LGBTQ+ community, drew inspiration from some of the most notorious mass killers in recent history, and positioned their attack as a tribute to the 2019 Christchurch killer, Brenton Tarrant.
A review by the ADL Center on Extremism of the killers' respective manifestos reveals adherence to several ideologies, most prominently white supremacist accelerationism and inceldom, as well as virulent Islamophobia and antisemitism.
