So, Pres Trump's unprovoked war with Iran may result in the charging of tolls for passage through the Strait of Hormuz?
I'd like to be a fly on the wall of the negotiations taking place...

Not a big obstacle. Lewzer told Panama to stop charging fees to transit the canal, and that was that.

Yeah, but ...
Pres Trump has also said that the US controls the Strait of Homuz.
www.cnbc.com
... Trump said his administration had "total control" of the waterway. ...
If that is the case, the why has shipping through the Strait been all but stopped of late?
Is Pres Trump lying? Again?

Maritime insurance underwriters.

Yeah, I understand that aspect. The insurers are currently concerned (understatement) about the risk of ships traversing the Strait.
But if, as Pres Trump states, the US is in full control of the Strait, why would the insurance companies have such an issue?
Could [gasp] Pres Trump be lying [again]?

The deal is so close we started dropping bombs again, to protect troops in the area, according to Rubio. www.msn.com

The light of a new work week reveals that Der Dotard, at best, is helping his friends trade ahead of his Troof blurbs. The so-called president has no clue how to negotiate with the toughest bunch of negotiators Trump, his wooden boy son-in-law and condo salesman Steve Witless have ever faced. This situation will still be going on for the Mid-Terms (if allowed to proceed unimpeded), and so long as the Dems figure out a coherent strategy they will wipe the floor with the MAGA crowd, with impeachment hearings commencing shortly thereafter...

That "cease fire" is sure holding. Nothing Donald Trump says about anything can be believed! Why do so many people support such a liar?

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States for the seventh time won the war that wasn't a war, so the United States can open the Strait of Hormuz that was open before the not war.
The not war that started to get the uranium that was completely obliterated, so that the Iranians can't build the nuclear bomb that they weren't building for the not war that the United States started.
Then the United States which has nuclear weapons threatening to use nuclear weapons to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons because having nuclear weapons is dangerous.
If the United States saw what the United States is doing in the United States, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

Trumpy has a concept of plan for a memorandum of understanding that is a plan for a plan to begin a negotiation about negotiations. Someday.
But who will begin negotiations with someone who bombs them if they don't like how the negotiations are going? What's the point of negotiating with someone like that? Just get to the bombings. Because that is what Trumpy wants to do. So just do it and STFU.
They have been singing it as a joke for years. "Bomb bomb bomb.. bomb bomb Iran!"
Now he has the reigns of power and that's how he gonna use it. No matter what Congress says.
