Iran and US Report New Wave of Strikes in Gulf

The US has said it struck Iranian military sites over the weekend while Tehran said it responded by targeting a US base, marking the third known escalations in a week around the Strait of Hormuz.

Taking stock of the war in Iran, we have with a ceasefire in which the fire hasn't ceased, and a burgeoning peace deal that lacks both peace and a deal. Meanwhile, Trump wants us to believe "we've actually left their military alone," while also boasting that he's destroyed the Iranian military.

... An Iranian missile strike injured several Americans at a Kuwaiti air base, according to a report Saturday, the latest escalation that could further complicate efforts to end the U.S.-Iran war.

Falling debris from an intercepted Iranian ballistic missile struck Ali Al Salem Air Base, causing minor injuries to about five Americans, including active duty personnel and contractors, Bloomberg reported.

One MQ-9 Reaper strike drone was destroyed and at least one other was seriously damaged, the report said.

The extent and exact number of injuries was not immediately available. Bloomberg said the attack occurred within the last 24 hours.

U.S. Central Command did not respond to emailed requests for comment Saturday. ...

The Iranian hardliners profit from Trump attacking them, and for a time, Trump profited by murdering Iranian leaders. If there were a functional United Nations and International criminal court, the ICC would be holding hearings on the war crimes committed by Trump and Hegseth.

Iran War? That's still a thing? I thought we won, and won bigly, with the Iranians agreeing to all of our terms. Hell, I even recall the big parade and splash party in that reflecting pool on the Mall in DC...
