The status quo dinosaurs in Congress are experts at "lip service" and few of them have delivered for the American people.

Why should these brontosaurus upset the boat?

$174,000 per annum salary, travel and expense accounts, slush funds, excellent retirement package after five or six years, all topped off with a platinum healthcare plan overseen by a USN admiral in a world class clinic hidden inside the Capitol building.

And lucrative lobbying positions await them when they leave office.
