TOO ------- EXPENSIVE.
Or, you could say it's due to an "affordability" hoax, right?
$300 for parking. A half mile away. Come on.

A lot of effort to just get a "replica" of the FIFA trophy to take home.

Canada should get a replica for the Stanley Cup. That seems to be the only way they'll get one.

The winner gets the real one. That's good enough.

You really didn't understand what he said did you? As long as I have been alive, Canada hasn't seen the Stanley Cup.

Football outside of this country is historically and socially considered a workingman's sport. When you thoughtlessly price those folks out of any realistic chance of attending, you're gonna find a whole bunch of empty seats in your stadiums. Then there's the whole ICE goons lurking about at Customs thing here in the Land O'Freedom. Lord knows how many 3rd world fans that scared off.

The World Cup is generally held in one country and people can drive from stadium to stadium and buy generally reasonably priced tickets
Having the World Cup in American states, Canada and Mexico is stupid. Expensive. And a huge expectation for fans.
Add to that our current xenophobic government.
The World Cup should have been canceled.

I haven't seen an empty stadium, any of you knuckleheads have a link?
I know its sport to hate on Trump and all your hiding under the bed fears, but I am not seeing the empty stadiums or complaints about the tourney being held in North America in general.

A boot licking trump suckup doesn't see a problem. What a shock.

Is the mush-brained orange chomo going to do to FIFA what he did to the USFL?

Well in all fairness to us true Liberals, Trudeau didn't attend the Canadian match, but he was in LA for the US match, talk about your suckups.

It's pretty sad when Americans prefer to attend baseball games rather than soccer matches. I understand that soccer in the US is a family thing, but buying 4-8 World Cup tickets means someone going without suitable clothes ...
