US and FIFA Screwing Over Team Iran

Iran's national team has been subject to travel restrictions since the FIFA tournament kicked off last week which is impacting their match performance. For just one example, after their 2-2 tie with New Zealand in Los Angeles on Monday, Team Melli was forced to fly all the way back to their base camp in Mexico on the very same day. The Iranian team points out FIFA has not advocated enough for them in this long multi-national tournament.

The City of Vancouver correctly refused to give good-for-nothing FIFA Supremo Carmine Infantino Level IV security, something only afforded the POTUS or the Pope. Even Canadian PM Mark Carney is only entitled to Level III security.

FIFA not stepping up and protecting the participants in the FIFA tournament is a disgrace.

What we're doing to the Iranian team is, separately, our own national disgrace.

I watched Iraq play Norway in the cup because I wanted to see Erling Haaland play for

Norway but I couldn't help watching the players on team Iraq since it was the US that

made it possible for them to play without fear of being put in prison or worse by

Sadaam and his devil sons for just losing a game.
