All part of Trump's plan to "nationalize" ALL State voting rights in violation of the Constitution.
Trump is what you might call an insecure control freak!

And what exactly is Trump's "constitutional authority"? To what standard does he in fact bend his own knee...? He seems to be in favor of a Russianized legal system with a pretend rule of law, where the oligarchy rules as gods.
