Park Ridge Achievement Academy in Baker will be closed Friday due to a spike in COVID cases among students and staff.

An NPR investigation found Louisiana health officials told staff to stop promoting vaccines for COVID, flu and mpox, holding flu shot events or otherwise encouraging the public to get those vaccines.

You know what's funny about this? I grew up in the Baker/Brownsfield area. They're about 2 miles apart. And Bethany? That was Pastor Stockstill's mega church on Plank Rd right between. That area is now around 95% black. I do not believe for a minute that they were short on vaccinations. You idiots are lame. Fuck you
