A senior prosecutor in New York Attorney General Letitia James' office has accused his superiors of wasting taxpayer money by targeting President Donald Trump and his allies without legitimate investigative grounds, according to the New York Post. Assistant Attorney General Daniel Wiesenfeld made the allegations in a weekend email sent to roughly 2,000 employees in James' office, arguing that its resources were being used to pursue "convenient public enemies" instead of crimes affecting New Yorkers. |
