A text has turned up that Schmidt was personally warned by the Justice Department that the information had not been vetted, so it was Schmidt's decision alone to go with it anyway.

Schmidt can't even scapegoat his staff on this one. He wanted the limelight but not the one he's getting by the media, ect.
