Democrats are secretly hitting the panic button

Democrats' nerves are at an all-time high. Two months ago " even a month ago " they were feeling bullish about Vice President Harris's prospects of defeating former President Trump. But now, with less than a month to go until Election Day, they're increasingly worried about a number of issues plaguing the Democratic nominee's campaign.

The race is a toss-up. Anyone who isn't concerned that their candidate may lose is either delusional or, not to be redundant, a Jill Stein 2024!!! voter.

Ah, yes... unbiased political insight from the author of, "Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency".

Thanks, Major B!

I read articles about the GOP secretly hitting the panic button over Trump all the time. The reasons for their panic are many and cogent.

This race is neck-and-neck. Having said that, if it were held this instant Harris would win.

Had it been held six months ago, Trump would have won.

So we see why the GOP is panicking.

Hey Boaz,

You ever come to terms with the fact Harris is Black?

Or is your white half still not accepting she's blacker than you are?

#6 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-10-09 05:05 PM

The thing about 2024 is that, even if Harris wins the election outright, everyone knows that it's not over
with. We then get into the MAGA cheating phase big time.

The "good" new is, if Trump and the Supreme Court can't cheat MAGA into power, Donald is going to have to shift this into open and likely violent opposition to the Constitutional system. Why this is good is because as an open enemy of the United States will are able to kill or arrest him.

#7 | Posted by Zed at 2024-10-09 05:06 PM

Also. Harris never had it in the bag.

I've been saying this since Biden announced he's not going to seek reelection.

Her advantage is that Trump has been acting like a complete imbecile.

We had it until she started talking.

Given his Base, that may be to his advantage.

I don't know who thought that a Black-Indian woman would waltz into the Oval Office without breaking a sweat.

We are still a racist and misogynistic nation. The only reason Kamala stands a chance is because her competition is a senile idiot who was barely functional even during his best days.

When Joe blew the debate, the Dem's chances of retaking the House plummeted. The only hope I had was that Kamala's candidacy would salvage the House so Dems can maintain that break on Trump's fascism. Anything more than that is icing on the cake as far as I'm concerned.

Worst decision this campaign made was putting her in front of a camera. Should have just replicated Biden's basement campaign and ran out the clock.

Saying nothing is less bad than spewing massive word salads and still saying nothing

A claimed description isn't an argument, it's an opinion.

In this case, it's the opinion of someone who supports a Traitor, according the the testimony of his own Aides and Lawyers, for the Presidency.

Which is where the old adage about considering the source is telling.

Exactly why you were screeching about them not doing that before she did.

Might still be balanced out by their best decision... to have the brain addled, ancient dementia patient Lewzer nominated to be her opposition.

I guess you and I have different ideas on how the government functions.

Here are some examples:
Checks and Balances in Separation of Powers
en.wikipedia.org
Schoolhouse Rock: How a Bill Becomes a Law www.youtube.com
Power of the Purse en.wikipedia.org

Is a government with the Dems controlling only 1/6th of the branches of government desirable? No, but that may be the best that we can do given the desires of our fellow citizens.

100%. She'd be getting demolished by any other candidate not named Trump.

*49th Vice President of the United States - Incumbent - Assumed office January 20, 2021

*United States Senator from California - In office January 3, 2017 - January 18, 2021

*32nd Attorney General of California - In office - January 3, 2011 - January 3, 2017

*27th District Attorney of San Francisco - In office - January 8, 2004 - January 3, 2011

Kamala Harris has won every single general election she's been on the ballot for over the last 20 years and garnered over 96 Million total votes in California and nationally as Vice President.

Trump has never won a majority of votes in the 2 national elections he's been on the ballot.

Your prognostication ability is only seconded by your gaslighting ability and your inclination of building strawmen to break down.

Swing states appear out of her reach regardless the "centrist cozy with Republicans" performance. Blatantly.

Kamala appeared on The View to tell the world she insists on having Republicans in her administration. Proudly.

Her "help" for businesses certainly sways no-one losing their home.

Pals with Cheney is offensive and stupid.

Sending 40,000 United States citizens to genocide on behalf of Israel is treasonous, just as continuing the Biden policy is criminal.

I can't expect her to immediately stop legislating impoverishment for Americans and deregulation for corporations to stimulate jackwagon elite portfolio fencing. I expect her to FORCE VOTES ON ANTI-CORRUPTION LEGISLATION. Putting Republicans in your cabinet may pretend to give you an "out", so make your Satanaide but don't expect the public to drink any. Biden used Manchin and Sinema as his excuse, refused to even dismiss the entirely made-up "parliamentarian" and allowed the child tax credit to fail - on top of the meager Covid check. The citizens well-being are not among Republican or Democrat priorities, only their economic value.

The American Dream can't afford to exist, but medical and student debts lives forever. Privatization of essential services is a cancer.

Nothing she has said or done has excited me. Keeping Walz from interviews is another red flag. The performance art is lacking.

Kamala very well may lose as this projection of "unity" and morality exposes the factual trust being abused.

That's neither here nor there.

It's up to the American voter to prevent that from happening. We've already seen what kind of Prez he is, including on January 6th. If we still elect him, that's on us.

#26 | Posted by censored at 2024-10-10 03:15 AM

She's running an awful campaign.

There are no progressive ideas.

She refuses to distance herself from Biden on even bad decisions.

She refuses to really go after Trump for his glaringly obvious weak points.

Behind the Curtain: Dems' Blue Wall blues
www.axios.com

... Top Democratic politicians and operatives tell us the vital states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are getting tougher for Vice President Harris and the party's Senate candidates.

- - - Harris is depending on that Blue Wall to win the White House, even if she struggles in the Sunbelt. On private calls, some top Harris allies are saying they believe the race will come down to Pennsylvania and Michigan.

Why it matters: There's growing worry among Democrats that Harris seems stuck, even sliding a bit, after a strong start to her young presidential campaign. Her media blitz, heavy spending and largely favorable coverage don't seem to be moving the needle much, if at all, these Democrats say. ...

Pet Shop Boys - One Of The Crowd

When I go fishing with my rod
I often get that urge
To fall asleep, a sleep so deep that
No-one notices me

Don't want anyone to know my name
Don't want to get a fax
Don't want to meet the Royal Family
Just 'cause I've paid my tax

Don't wanna be seen or heard
Don't want to shout out loud
I want to be part of the herd
One of the crowd

Dressing individually doesn't impress me
I think that it's pathetic
Following fashion, I just like it
Don't I?

Don't wanna be seen or heard
Don't want to shout out loud
I want to be part of the herd
One of the crowd

One of the crowd
One of the crowd
Fishing
Fishing

I never fight, but every night
I think it's gonna be alright
I think I might think in spite of
Every thing

Don't wanna be seen or heard
Don't want to shout out loud
I want to be part of the herd
One of the crowd

One of the crowd
One of the crowd
One of the crowd
