Steve Bannon: Trump Can Run for a Third Term in 2028

The top Trump ally appeared to reference the wording of the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, which states, "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice."

Sounds like JD will be at the top of the ticket, resign upon inauguration, and be appointed to the newly vacant Vice-President slot.

I'll bite and chime in on this one, on one hand I believe our Republic should have someone new in 2028 and continue on the Democratic process of bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives. Which is what I truly believe. As well ... Watching the shit show of Biden an 80+ man who wasn't actually "there" as President has lead to the current destabilized world we live in.

On the other, the hilarious thought of it happening and what would be used to justify it ... Democrats did everything, and I mean everything to destroy that man's first term in office (to the point I'm not even sure it could be called a term). Then after he left office tried to bankrupt him, throw him in prison, and casually looked the other way at attempts on his life. So fuck it, if it happens it happens. Not my problem.

If he runs, Dems can put Barack Obama against him. Hell even Slick Willy. Anyways Trump will die of old age before his next term or Vance will 25th amendment him.

No I don't think Trump is allowed to run again based on a non-idiocracy reading of the constitution. Guess we'll see what Beef Supreme has to say about that though.

I still can't believe that Trump was allowed to run again much less take the office of POTUS due to the fact that he is an insurrectionist. Apparently the Constitution is just a God damned piece of paper after all.
