The Department of Justice isn't even pretending to have good reasons for dropping the case against Eric Adams, writes legal columnist Elie Honig.

Can you even imagine Joe Biden being in charge of our country? The only think he could accomplish and not well at all was sleeping on a beach chair and not falling off. He had an unknown insider cabal conspiracy from the Dem Party running America and not well. Biden was a disaster. Trump gets things done times 20 compared to any Democrat.

Democrats do not have initiative nor ability nor desire nor the normality to be good leaders. They put the USA in dire, bad shape be it from public school results , high crime, debt, life expectancy, international respect. They are simply crooked do nothings that like being figureheads on the dole.

the Justice Department, is a federal executive department

The president is the CEO

So yes he tells the Justice Dept what to do, just like when President Biden told the Justice Dept to attack Trump.

You're something of a monkey, too.

No need to counter you with facts you'd ignore.

How about a banana?

@#3 ... just like when President Biden told the Justice Dept to attack Trump. ...

Did he? What evidence do you have?

One theory is that he was digging in his back yard and found the evidence recorded in gold plates left by angels.

Another theory is that he and his scuzzy friends just get together, smoke dope, and make shit up.

... The dangerous co-optation of the Justice Department by the Trump White House continues in ways both substantive and symbolic. ...

From an article on the Back Page...

NYC Mayor Eric Adams to meet with border czar
abc7ny.com

... His critics are calling on him to do something and prove himself in light of optics that he has cozied up to President Donald Trump after the Justice Department instructed prosecutors to dismiss his bribery case. ...

Mayor Adams now seems beholden to the Trump administration after Pres Trump ordered the DoJ to drop the charges against him.

As I understand it, the charges were dropped "without prejudice," apparently meaning that the charges can be reinstated again, possibly if Mayor Adams doesn't do what the Trump administration instructs him to do.

To me, it looks like something a mob boss would do to keep Mayor Adams in check. ...

As I said in a another thread, Everything trump touches dies. The US HAD a good run. Bu by.

The president is the CEO

This must be a new republican talking point.

Too many deplorable Trumping MAGAts have been making this claim.

Not realizing what absolute idiocy they are blindly repeating.

#11 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-02-13 01:55 PM

- just like when President Biden told the Justice Dept to attack Trump. ...

The hypocritical Whataboutisms are strong in this one.... IF that had happened, which it did not, you are claiming it would make Trump's illegal actions OK?

#4 | POSTED BY ZED

That's an insult to monkeys. Monkeys are intelligent beings capable of independent thought.

I've seen no such proof from username Robson.

That username is an AI bot. Its posts are vague and don't ever actually address the topic of the thread. It's just general anger for democrats.

Just like post #2 on this thread.

Who knows what that string of words is about, it's all nonsense.

Look at Nostradumbass here, trying his hardest to equate what the Trump administration is doing to what the Biden administration did.

What a dishonest piece of shht BullBringer is.

Everyone point and laugh at the idiot.

#13 | Posted by BellRinger

Nothing is precedented after the president attempts a coup. That's never happened before, so anything afterward is automatically unprecedented.

for example - It's normal for corporations to donate to politicians. It's unprecedented for corporations to donate to a candidate who attempted a coup.

It's normal to issue pardons. It's unprecedented to issue pardons to terrorists who helped your attempted coup.

Obama never demanded loyalty to him by his cabinet members unlike Trump. Your desperation reeks Jeff. It really does.

#17 | Posted by LauraMohr at 2025-02-13 02:09 PM

All of you should STFU about precedents and unprecedented stuff. The only thing that matters is that Trump is a bad faith actor and so is anyone who makes excuses for his corrupt behavior. Everyone knows that by now. If this is just about pwning each other, get a bloody room.
