Hedge Fund Founder Warns of 'something worse than a recession'

The founder of Bridgewater Associates, one of the world's largest hedge funds, has voiced concern that President Donald Trump's economic agenda could lead to "something worse than a recession."

A total of 169 CEOs weighed in for The Business Roundtable's economic outlook index, which dropped 15 points, hitting its lowest level in five years.

Before anyone attacks the messenger, Dalio is far from being a democrat. He has raised funds of GOP candidates including John McCain's Presidential run. Bridgewater donated nearly a half million to the RNC and the GOP Senate and House funds during the 2024 cycle.

Worse than a "normal recession"? Is it a pox on both their houses and their summer houses? Ooh, how about we all dress like ICE and raid them? Hmm... It's hard to think about 1930's survival strategies when your city is under threat of Federal military invasion and economic collapse.
