A lack of appreciation of the full scale and importance of the election is what cost the Dems.

The faster "progressives" stop believing their relevant beyond the coastal urban areas the better it will be for Dems.

If ya'll actually joined with the middle and pushed for things like Medicare for all, education reform and funding, decreased DoD budgets ect ect you'd be much better off.

Seriously, it's been the same cycle my entire adult life. The GOP has control the majority of the time, people get sick of them because they're s*^# and vote more Dems in. The Dems take this as a "mandate" to force all their ideas in one fell swoop then get their ass handed to them the next cycle because it turns out people don't like being chastised for refusing to call someone a "birthing person."

And the cycle starts anew.

Harris lost for a lot of reasons, but one of them is that she was definitely not ready for prime time.

Which is a sad statement given she was VP for four years.

That was her time to make a name for herself and earn the on deck status she had been handed.

But she didn't.

So when it came time for her to be installed in Biden's place, she was the same last place primary candidate she was four years prior.

Americans are desperate for representation and feel like they're not getting it from either party.
