A lack of appreciation of the full scale and importance of the election is what cost the Dems.

When the self righteous idiot "progressives" took their ball and went home over a single issue the not only guaranteed the violence in Gaza would continue but also that our republic would be destroyed as well.

Self righteous lefties are utterly lacking in self awareness, the intelligence they so desperately want to have and any leg to stand on to speak up and criticize anyone.

Yet they chirp about the middle being the problem and how they're actually the ones we should be listening to.

#8 the middle tend to be grownups who can look at the situation as a whole and realize self preservation is more important than taking your ball and going home because you're "passionate."

The toxic effects of Trump and his people are no longer theoretical (they weren't in 2024 either, but anyways ... ) and if you still choose to let them run rampant over a single issue then I have no use for you and you're too far up your own self righteous a%^ to likely be reachable anyway.

Staying home and allowing this administration to control both houses of Congress guarantees the end result you're griping about. Probably to a worse extent than if the Dems were in control. Voting to ensure Congressional control changes hands gives you a chance to fight another day.

It basically boils down to growing up and being an adult or continue being Veruca Salt throwing a tantrum because you don't get what you want now now now.
