Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has suspended Italy's defense cooperation agreement with Israel while condemning Donald Trump's blasphemies against Christianity and Pope Leo XIV.
"It's her who's unacceptable" -- Trump in a new interview today attacked Italian Prime Minster Giorgia Meloni for criticizing his attacks on the Pope

The Spanish government recently withdrew its ambassador from Rogue state/Pariah nation Israel. ICC-indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu continues making life miserable not only for the people in the Middle East, but for the people and economies of the EU, the US, and now Australia who is facing a gasoline shortage.

"An Israeli air strike on a government building in southern Lebanon's Nabatieh killed at least 13 members of the country's State Security agency. The attack came after ICC-indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu said he had ordered direct negotiations with Lebanon."

I want to hear more clarification on why Morris believes the Pope waited until now to speak with stronger global condemnation.
That is what I need clarification about.

You're not seeking clarification.
You're seeking a reason to ignore The Pope, because you don't agree with The Pope.
Anyway, here's the answer:
While the Holy See does not intervene directly into the internal affairs of individual states, there were signs that Vatican officials were dismayed by the situation in Iran in January.
"I wonder how it is possible to attack one's own people, to the point of causing so many deaths," Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican secretary of state, said during a celebration for the exposition of a relic in Rome on January 19, as reported by EWTN.

"I don't like seeing anyone, left or right, using the Bible to push political positions."
Then you're really gonna hate the New Testament!
"I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me."
This was the opposite of how the Pharisees treated the poor, the sick, the destitute. The Pharisees would cross to the other side of the street, rather than be accidentally touched by someone they deemed "unclean."

The Pharisees were becoming somewhat Romanized with their lust for money and power, although they were still not a Tribe that consented to fathers killing their daughters and keeping their sons, or holding mass forced executions at the Coliseum, or the genocide of several different peoples.
The world prior to growing Christianity in the early centuries of the CE was much different, than with Greece and Rome:

I feel slightly less greasy holding Leonardo stock now!
Leonardo stock is up about 35% in a year.
You know what isn't up 35% in a year? My salary.
"Since 1996, dividends and capital gains have grown faster than wages or any other category of after-tax income."
That is the next sentence after the "Since 1975" quote I often cite. A quote that Trump has since removed when he removed the entire CIA World Factbook.
But you can still find this useful fountain of knowledge even though Trump destroyed the official copy for political reasons.

How many times have I said mixing religion and politics is not a good idea?
