National Republicans are attempting a shift to embrace mail-in and early voting to match what's been a Democratic advantage in recent years.

"It starts at the top. As the leader of the Republican Party, Trump has used his position to blast, without evidence, mail-in voting as a Trojan horse for widespread voter fraud. In the process, the former president has eroded trust in a method that was once widely embraced by many people in his party, putting Republicans at a disadvantage against Democrats. 'Mail-in voting is totally corrupt,' Trump said bluntly during a February rally in Michigan. In his stump speeches, written remarks often include a plug for mail-in voting, but Trump struggles to recite the lines without casting doubt on early-voting options."

I don't really need to see what BJ has to say about this again. He has absolutely no evidence that mail-in voting is fraught with fraud. Only his "belief". Considering his belief, I hope he stands in line for 12 hours to vote on election day.

You mean Sh*tlers attack on mail in voting has now brainwashed the maggots into rejecting it?

Oh dear god, you can't write better comedy than his bumbling orange oaf.

Funny how many know that Der Dotard votes by mail-in ballot, yet he will not admit to it. Sooner or later this big mouth will come out and declare that he does (Diamond Joe getting him to do so in a debate would be comedy gold). Imagine all the members of the Red Hat Mob sitting at home, having been told that mail-in is evil, yet having their anointed leader declare that he mails in his ballot. Heads would explode from coast to coast...

Perhaps the GQP could entice deplorables to accept mail-in voting by tossing in free tubs of horse paste.

Table 18: States With Mostly-Mail Elections

... Ballots are mailed out well ahead of Election Day, and thus voters have an "election period," not just a single day, to vote. Mostly-mail elections can be thought of as absentee voting for everyone. This system is also referred to as "vote by mail."

Eight states -- California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington and the District of Columbia"allow all elections to be conducted entirely by mail.

Two states -- Nebraska and North Dakota"permit counties to opt into conducting elections by mail.

Nine states -- Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico and Wyoming"allow specific small elections to be conducted by mail.

Four states - Idaho, Minnesota, New Jersey and New Mexico"permit mostly-mail elections for certain small jurisdictions.

The four tables below show which states allow which types of mostly-mail elections. ...

[see article for the tables]

Of course it's met with resistance, Republicans have been ramming the idea of mail-in ballots as illegal, prone to fraud, bad, evil, etc down the throats of their base. Now they're trying to tell their base it's only evil when Democrats do it but, ok if Republicans do it.

The GQP has always and still does oppose anything that will make it easier to vote because their biggest fear would be if every citizen voted! They have demandedunfair advantages in election gor the entire history of the United States because, honestly, they have never believed in the basic concept of democracy.
