... The serving of the indictment brought an end to the former mayor's 80th birthday party at the Palm Beach, Fla., home of Republican consultant Caroline Wren.

"While crime in Arizona is at an all-time high the Arizona Secretary of State's office felt it was a good use of resources to send multiple agents across the country to storm an 80th birthday party like it was Normandy," Wren told the New York Post.

Giuliani had earlier live streamed a portion of the festivities, which involved a patriotic-themed cake and the mayor singing Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York."

Attendees at the party included Steve Bannon and Roger Stone. ...

"While crime in Arizona is at an all-time high"

The crime of fake electors is certainly at an all time high.

"While crime in Arizona is at an all-time high"

Which, of course, it isn't.

But isn't that just like Republicans, committing voter fraud just to prove there's voter fraud?

Well, at least, after a long and costly search, they found him alive. I would have bet against it.

For a lawyer, though, to dodge the serving of an indictment is really dumb.

Now he's made himself a flight risk.

"Some partygoers started screaming and one woman even cried as Giuliani was served," the Post's Lydia Moynihan wrote.

What is it with the Democrats in law enforcement at a federal or state level deliberately choosing the worst and most embarrassing times to do these types of things? They HAD to do this at night at the man's 80th birthday party? It couldn't wait until morning?

This is petty, vindictive, spiteful crap.

Law enforcement had been trying to serve Mr Giuliani for a while.

They finally caught up with him. 'Tis a shame it was his birthday party.

Maybe if he had not apparently avoided the serving, it might have turned out differently.

... Arizona Indictment: Giuliani is one of 18 Trump allies who were indicted on criminal charges in Arizona on Wednesday on allegations they fraudulently helped Trump try to overturn the 2020 election or signed on to a false slate of electors -- though The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Giuliani had still not yet been served because prosecutors could not track him down, which risks him being held in contempt should he not appear in court for his arraignment. ...

It's a mere coincidence. Rudy had been avoiding law enforcement, to a degree that he was boastful about it, that then ended with subpoena being delivered at the stroke of midnight per a specific deadline.

Too bad so sad for Rudy. Curious why you think this is wrong.

If he was actively avoiding law enforcement then this makes sense. I guess I let other abusive occurrences spill over onto this.

You want to talk spiteful crap?. At the time Rudy was bragging at his birthday party about how he was successfully "running out the clock" by dodging being served. It must have been the ultimate "oooooo snap!", "musta hurt" and "left a mark" moments in legal history.

Drooliani set himself up and got caught with his pants down and his brain wet.

He has had a great 80 years of technicolor self-indulgence! Stop wasting your time feeling sorry for him. He's too brain-damaged to strategize or appreciate your misdirected sympathy. He's a brain-addled zombie... like Trumpanzee.

Rudy would jump right back into another J6 if Trump asked him.

In fact, that may be why he wanted to "run out the clock" ~ so he could share in Trump's limelight again.

Pickled-brain and useless is a sad way to go out. It's not as though he didn't have choices. He just chose wrong. The spotlight is a powerful aphrodisiac. After 9-11 he just didn't know how to give it up and rest on his laurels.

Roody knew he was under indictment and he knew they were trying to serve him and he was evading being served.

He mocked them on his podcast stating "if they don't serve me by tomorrow they can't indict me" (don't know who true that fact is given his extremely loose relationship with facts and laws).

So yes, they served him when they found him.

Don't want to be served with an indictment at your 80th birthday party, don't be a fking criminal and no matter how many time you apologize for the trump crime cabal they are going to do their job where and when they can.

" I guess I let other abusive occurrences spill over onto this."

What a riot.

I've asked AT LEAST a half-dozen times for an example of the lawfare, without a single answer.

So, I'll directly ask, again:

Which of the abusive occurrences were for actions you or I could do without fear of legal repercussions?

Sans an answer, it's not lawfare, it's law. And the fact remains: what you really want is two tiers of justice. One for Democrats, and one that lets the people you enable get away with crimes, all due to the letter after the name.

Coming from a Trumper that pretty hilarious.

"When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just seen them thrown in, rough. I said, Please don't be too nice,'" he said.

"When you guys put somebody in the car and you're protecting their head you know, the way you put their hand over [their head]," Trump continued, mimicking the motion. "Like, 'Don't hit their head and they've just killed somebody, don't hit their head.' I said, 'You can take the hand away, OK?'
