Can he after the convention has nominated Vance? Isn't he stuck with him?

"If Trump and/or Republicans eventually determine that they do have buyer's remorse over Vance, there isn't much they can do about it:

Republican National Committee (RNC) bylaws do not allow a person at the top of the ticket, nor the party itself, to remove a vice presidential candidate once they are selected."

"There is one caveat:

The party could amend its bylaws, if three-fourths of committee members vote to do so, to allow a new provision that would let them remove a vice presidential running mate.

if that's the route they want to take, it will have to be done quickly, as deadlines for naming the nominees in a number of states are fast approaching."

Sounds like they could do it, as 100 percent of the Committee Members would eat gravel if Hair Fuehrer told them to.

They just have to do it soon.

With any luck, some of Vance's constituents will take umbrage if Drumpf ditches him and put Ohio into play.

Too chicken to debate, too much of an incompetent old demented dope to pick a VP.

Who's voting for this turd-pile?

Don won't ditch him because he needs the money from Peter Thiele and it would be admitting Don Jr made a mistake. The only way it could happen is if JD can be convinced to quit the ticket by for "personal reasons".

It's his party... he can do whatever he wants with it.

7. Don't count out defenestration.

Funny, I was thinking that Trump is the one who should stay away from balconies and be careful what he eats because JD is both ruthlessly ambitious and the real choice of the Opus Dei gang.

Hair Furor is probably waiting on Kamala's veep choice to select the best Vance replacement.

Trump as a chess grandmaster? No, but maybe he's familiar with tic-tac-toe.

And Nikki Haley needs to sit by the phone???

Scaramouch scaramouch will you do the fandango?

I hope he does as it is evidence of his "only the best people" lie.

#4 Corky You're forgetting one important thing. Republicans don't care if Trump breaks the rules. They will let him do whatever he decides to do. They've been catering to his whims since the beginning.

Trump hasn't admitted he made a mistake yet ~ which his ego would never allow him to do.

There are ways but Trump will have to make it look like it's Vance's idea, not his and they'll both have to be quick about it. The hard part will be convincing Peter Thiele that HE was the one who made the mistake. That may not go over so well.

My guess is that Vance stays on the ticket . . . with a much less visible role in the campaign.

And no security detail.

"And no security detail."

Ooooo, that's cold. But I got the message.

But I was thinking more along the lines of how a campaign might get by with Vance on the ticket using some pre-taped, cut, edited and AI voice replication made for TV interviews.

I'm of the mind we need to attack and break the back of any media outlet that lies to advance an agenda or politics or gaslight. Break them financially and do it with vigor so it changes media culture into something that is based on facts and truth always instead of politics. Remember and attack the media and those who did the deed.
