In the past, Justices at least tried to avoid looking like partisan political operatives, but with Thomas and Alito it's just rwing politics in your face 24/7.

Bailey argued that the criminal case against Trump violated the right of Missouri residents under the Constitution's First Amendment to "hear from and vote for their preferred presidential candidate."

Republican attorneys general from Florida, Iowa, Montana and Alaska filed a Supreme Court brief in support of the Missouri lawsuit.

This sounds like another one of Trump's cockamamie schemes to get off the hook in the New York State hush money case, claiming the gag order deprives the residents of Missouri (and Florida, Iowa, Montana and Alaska) from their constitutional right to make an informed decision. Because they couldn't hear Trump's side.

What a bunch of bunk ~ and, in my opinion, an indictment against the people of Missouri, Florida, Iowa, Montana and Alaska for believing they're going to get anything close to the truth from a compulsive liar like Donald Trump.

They haven't been deprived. They can vote for any convicted criminal they want including Trump. He also isn't in jail and does not have restricted movement (yet). He is just not visiting them because Missouri is in his back pocket and not a swing state. On the other hand if he comes to Michigan one more time I may be violently ill. He botched up my drives and activities twice in the past couple of months.

It would not appear that the NY judges "gag" order has stopped him speaking or his speech schedule in any way.

It only affects the speech about people around the NY case. Not his usual blather about anything else.
The guy does go on and on and on and on...
