The Harris campaign now wants microphones to be live all the time, according to Harris spokesman Brian Fallon, who issued a statement needling Trump. "Trump's handlers prefer the muted microphone because they don't think their candidate can act presidential for 90 minutes on his own," Fallon said. Harris "is ready to deal with Trump's constant lies and interruptions in real time. Trump should stop hiding behind the mute button."

The only reason I think closed mics are a better idea is because with open mics the Orange Puddin' Pie is never going to stop talking or interrupting. He obviously will make a fool of himself in the process, but finally the rest of us would get to hear Kamala Harris answer direct questions put to her by journalists.

They are using the "commie" stuff to try to appeal to the old, boomer FoxNews watchers who equate "commie" with how they remember "Russia."

That is, trying to equate Democrats with Russia, when it is the Republicans who are majorly cozying up to Russia.

I see this AP article cut the rest of Miller's comments out.

"Miller then took a shot at Harris not sitting for an interview or holding a news conference since Biden ended his reelection and endorsed her, arguing her campaign now wants "to give her a cheat sheet for the debate."

Team Harris want's her to use notes for the debate because she cant debate off the cuff. It's why she doesn't do pressers. The last person your party put on a stage with Trump quit his job on Twitter with a dear John letter a couple days later. And then endorsed this clown before he disappeared.
