I have never seen any presidential candidate thrown more spaghetti against the wall than Trump is right now. If he keeps this up, I can see many pro-life righties staying home this year because they absolutely aren't going to vote for Harris and Trump is rolling back bans and promising free IVF - which would means millions of fertilized ovums that will never be birthed.

I'm afraid those are deal breakers with the hardliners.

Donald received a personal call from one of the head pro-life evangelical Xtian group's leaders telling him that he needs to clarify his position on abortion lest he lose the support of this group's members who're now questioning his bonafides. They told him straight up, if you're pro-choice, we aren't knocking on doors for you. So confirms the genesis of his comments today, but speculation is still running rampant that evangelicals are finally realizing that Trump isn't wedded to a complete abortion ban, which is what they want. And that his other antics are the antithesis of being Christ-like.

And even as he avowed to vote against the Florida abortion referendum, he still said that 6 weeks is too early along to completely ban elective abortions. This is not what evangelicals want to hear. IMO, Trump's mouth has finally got his ample rear in trouble with his base, and it may cost him in states not yet even on the radar. Evangelicals are not going to vote for Harris no matter what. But if they sour on Trump, they simply won't cast a presidential vote at all, which obviously would be a boon to Harris all across the country.
