More of Trump's appointees were "acting" this or that than not.
If Republicans fight confirm any of her choices, F 'em. She can work with who she wants to.

As a public service, I will provide the qualifications needed for a Cabinet position:
There was a man named Rick Perry. He was the Governor of Texas. He was a presidential candidate fairly recently. He was big on killing government.
He campaigned on getting rid of 3 Federal departments. Asked at a debate to name them, he famously said "Education, Commerce, and Ooops!". His campaign disintegrated after that.
In the next administration, he got a Cabinet position as Secretary of Energy. Energy, of course, was the other department he wanted to get rid of, but couldn't remember.

Yeah, the problem with the prior Trump administration, and one that looks to be more emphasized in a possible next Trump administration, is that fmr Pres Trump selects those who advise him based upon their loyalty to him, and not their qualification for the position or even a loyalty to the Constitution.
That, imho, is why so many in the prior Trump administration or advising him back then seem to have wound up indicted, pardoned and/or incarcerated.
From the looks of the possible candidates for VP Harris' possible Cabinet, experience and qualification seems to be in the forefront.

She'll probably keep most of Biden's people. Unless someone retires or voluntarily decides to leave.
It's the U.S. Supreme Court that I'm more concerned about.

@#7 ... She'll probably keep most of Biden's people. ...
I'm not at that point. My guess (and that is all it is) is that she will bring new people in. The cited article seems to confirm that.
My current view is that she may be more of a change from the Biden administration than currently may be ascribed to her.
... It's the U.S. Supreme Court that I'm more concerned about. ...
Yes, there is also that aspect.

I haven't heard about anybody jumping ship yet.
It seems reasonable to me that any changes she might consider would be discussed privately between herself and President Biden and with advance courtesy notices to anybody affected.
It may also depend on the makeup of the majority in the new Senate and the fact that Biden's cabinet members have already been confirmed.
If the Senate flips, you can bet retribution will be the order of the day.

I'm also thinking about what Harris said about including some Republicans in her cabinet for the sake of diversity.
Two names immediately came to my mind: Michael Steele (former chair of the RNC) and Liz Cheney.
I'm sure you'll get the drift of that.

@#9, #10 ... I haven't heard about anybody jumping ship yet. ...
imo, it is not about anyone jumping ship.
It is about who is asked to serve.
In my view, VP Harris does not seem to be wanting to keep the Biden advisors on board.
She seems to have differing goals.

"She seems to have differing goals."
I'm sure she does. What new President doesn't?
But I don't see how that connects to a new, less experienced cabinet. It's not like we're changing parties.

Not sure about a Harris cabinet. But judging by Trump's dementia-laden freestyle breakdown at yesterday's rally, Johnny Carson (died 2005) probably has a lock on something huge if he gets elected. Trump, not Carson, although machts nichts to Trump.

It's fair to assume she's going to keep as many cabinet level officials as she can. She has worked with them for the last 4 years.
