Now we know why he's been out shilling for Trump. Musk is privy to sensitive information about various U.S. systems.

Reporting includes this:

Elon Musk has regularly talked with Vladimir Putin " and faced 'implicit threats': report

"In May 2022, Russia's space chief said in a post on Telegram that Musk would 'answer like an adult' for supplying Starlink to Ukraine's Azov battalion, which the Kremlin had singled out for the ultraright ideology espoused by some members," the Journal reported.

The article continued: "Later in 2022, Musk was having regular conversations with 'high-level Russians,' according to a person familiar with the interactions. At the time, there was pressure from the Kremlin on Musk's businesses and 'implicit threats against him,' the person said."

That same year, Musk began pushing more Russian-aligned stances, including that SpaceX was losing money by funding terminals in Ukraine, as well as asking his followers on his app, X, to support peace plans that "mirrored some aspects of the Kremlin's offer to Ukraine," the Journal reported. Additionally, Musk has become more critical of American military aid to Ukraine.

This entire Trump error has gone from the not so sublime, far past the incredibly ridiculous. Every part of the story's pieces makes logical sense and fit together intuitively. Russia's got a person at Trump's right hand that to whom they apparently made 'implicit threats' tied to Putin's ire of Musk letting Ukraine have Starlink which resulted in the deaths of many, many Russians.

Then out of nowhere, Musk buys Twitter, reopens its gates to rightwing flamethrowers, and jumps on the Trump train. Now as lead engineer, he's funded Trump's campaign/PACs with at least $134 million and is giving away a $1 a day for swing state voters.

I'm going to assume that US intelligence already knows all of this but Biden has kept the public lid on due to the volatility of the entire situation.

I wouldn't be surprised - if proven accurate - wasn't leaked by a friendly foreign intelligence agency, trying to thwart Putin by stopping Trump. The kompromat on Musk has to be devastating, along with the spectre of an involuntary window fall.

This is simply radioactive information as it regards the safety and future of this nation - if we can keep it out of the hands of enemies both foreign and domestic. Putin is leaning on Musk and communicating to him and Musk is standing right there next to Trump.

You know who knows what Musk and Putin talked about and kept receipts?:

Secrets and Laws
@secretsandlaws

As @AshaRangappa_ noted with Trump, Putin certainly recorded all the compromising calls he's had with
@elonmusk. So now Putin can blackmail a major US defense contractor, who also happens to be trying to swing the election in favor of Putin's preferred candidate. Cool.

Cut from part of the same cloth as Trump.
Both are egotists. They believe they are 'above the law'
and will do what 'benefits them, first and foremost', above
all else.

AngryDrunk, like Aroma don't care about ethics in journalism.

Trump couldn't spell ethics if you spotted him all six letters in order. The only letter he cares about is the "I".

And this is from Rupert Murdoch's paper, you know, the same person that owns Fox News. It's a multi-sourced story so the editors know who the sources are even if pinheads like Turds don't. Is Murdoch trying to smear Trump? Your complaints are laughable in the face of reality.

The issue here is that Putin is in direct communication with the person funding Trump's campaign to the tune of $134 million and counting. In Turd's world, the Watergate story was bogus too since the source never became public until almost 50 years afterwards. If he had 2 braincells in total he'd understand how anonymous sources work and why they want to remain nameless. Newspapers can be sued for libel if they publish information that they know is false and derogatory and lord knows Musk has the money to sue, so why not wait and see if he does before casting ignorant aspersions because you simply don't like the information being offered?

I guess the Trumpers are showing that America simply isn't meaningful anymore to them if their first complaint is about the reporting instead of the allegation Putin is pressuring Musk for his own misery in Ukraine. And then Musk buys Twitter, removes the fact checking of right wing disinformation, and joins Trump as a surrogate in his campaign while in communication with Putin himself.

National security sacrificed on the altar of Trumpism, how quaint.

Elon Musk's "X" is a virulent cesspool of racists, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists.

This South African can potentially be de-naturalized of his US citizenship for "Fraud and Willful Misrepresentation" under the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA).

Rupert Murdoch? Big donor to Hillary - you probably don't remember that one. Murdoch is a media mogul, he makes money off people consuming his version of the news. Do you really think he gives a ---- about the truth?

WSJ has definitely shifted left as they see Trump as a threat to the deep state uni-party neo-cons. But it's still better than the Altantic, owned by Kamala and Ghislaine Maxwell's good friend, Laurene Powell Jobs. Rumor has it that Ghislaine provided Kamala's husband's nanny.

Damn. If there was only a timely story about the owner of one of the nation's largest papers overruling his editorial board.

Oh,... there is.

Billionaire LA Times Owner Stops Kamala Endorsement, Editor Quits
We must ask again, you're not very bright, are you?

And the story isn't an editorial, it's an investigative piece. But to think that an owner such as Murdoch couldn't kill this story if he wanted to is simply false. It happens all the time. Especially for an owner like Rupert.
