Trump supporter Labeled Noncitizen, Kicked off Texas' Voter Rolls
Mary Howard-Elley is the 10th U.S. citizen identified by ProPublica, The Texas Tribune and Votebeat whose registration was canceled after her citizenship was questioned. Her saga shows how tough it can be for eligible voters to get reinstated.

If she can't prove her citizenship in order to vote in Texas, how is she going to prove her citizenship in order to stay in this country when the mass deportations begin should Trump be elected?

More from the cited article...
... Mary Howard-Elley fervently believes illegal immigration in the U.S. is a critical problem that only former President Donald Trump can solve. She says the continuation of his border wall and promised mass deportations will make the country safer. She agrees with Trump's unfounded claims that Democrats are opening the borders to allow noncitizens to vote, fearing that it could ultimately cost him the election. Howard-Elley didn't pay much attention when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott helped fuel that narrative by announcing that the state had removed thousands of supposed noncitizens from its rolls, claiming some had a history of voting. Then the U.S. citizen learned she was among them. The retired Transportation Security Administration agent was confused by how the county could come to that conclusion. And she seethed at the idea that anyone would question the citizenship of a former federal employee with the "whitest name you could have." ...

I know a man now in his 90s originally from Texas. Born on a very rural farm house in the panhandle. They never made a birth certificate for him back then. He has wanted to go back to Texas for the past decade to "die among family". He has had drivers licenses, is a vet, etc. Worked near me for decades. BUT because of Texas law, he can't vote, get a drivers license, etc. And since he is Hispanic, he fears the authorities in Texas. He doesn't even visit now.

I would think he could easily get help from an immigratiom lawyer about his status if in fact all of this is true and it should be readily documentable.
