Michigan Lawmaker Had Surgery to Remove Reproductive Organs

A 36-year-old Michigan lawmaker told the Associated Press that she has been receiving threats after revealing she had her reproductive organs removed in fear that the Trump administration would limit birth control options.

Wouldn't be too surprised to see legislation introduced by Republicans requiring women to get authorization from a Republican Politician before being allowed to under go any medical procedure or even be allowed in a hospital.

Very valid question, at least in this case the public figure is the one making it Newsworthy rather than the media folks springing a public airing of a private medical procedure, but to the question of public concern ... no answers lol.

The law used to be that you had to be cleared by a psychiatrist and if you were married your husband had to sign off on it too. If you were a woman who carried two pregnancies to term and were legally allowed to get one some hospitals would offer to do it... "while they were in there" during delivery of your second.

Men on the other hand... married or not... could just ask for the snip... and the deed got done.

Men always have the easiest b.c. but for some reason made it a woman's responsibility... and it better not interfere with his pleasure.
