Democrats and tax experts are sounding alarms about a plan by Elon Musk's DOGE team to gain access to an IRS system that contains detailed financial information about millions of taxpayers, including their tax returns.

I suspect that the # of Trump supporters who are trying to avoid taxes is much higher than liberals trying to avoid taxes. The problem is, if they have nefarious access to returns they may attempt to manipulate them. I hope everyone is keeping good records.

Many hackers already have access to this information, and are probably collecting millions, if not billions from dead and non-existent people. I believe there is also much fraud from so-called disabled persons who are collecting every month, and who are not the least bit disabled.
This is what DOGE needs to stop.
