Germany 'monitoring' US detentions of its citizens

... Germany is "monitoring" how its citizens are treated when traveling to the United States, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Monday.

The announcement comes after the recent detention of three Germans in separate incidents. Two have been deported, but one person is still being detained.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Sebastian Fischer said Germany was trying to assess "whether this represents a change in American immigration policy or whether these are isolated cases."

"Once we have a clear picture, we will then, if necessary, adjust our travel and security advice," he said. ...

Do try harder.

All your current alias' two comments show is a, I'll be kind, [intentional?] lack of understanding.

Yeah, do try harder.

Two, three, four, eins, zwei, drei

Sie sagt: Sugar sweet, ya got me rapping to the heat"

Ich verstehe, sie ist hei
Sie sagt, Babe, you know, I miss my funky friends"
Sie meint Jack und Joe und Jill
Mein Funk-Verstndnis, ja, das reicht zur Not
Ich berrei', was sie jetzt will

Britain Issues Travel Warning for US

The German and UK warnings add to previous advisories from other countries to avoid America because of gun violence. And Mexico advised its citizens to avoid Texas because of measles. Canadians are eagerly staying away to spend their money elsewhere. Terrific job Republican voters, turning America into a Pariah State.

So, if you come to another country and commit crimes, you should not be deported in liberal land? How stupid are you people? Why do you insist on protecting criminals and keeping them running wild on the streets of the US?

Most countries put you in prison for committing crimes.

When have you ever heard of a country deporting people for committing crimes?

You really are stupid.

Pretty much every country will arrest you and then deport you after - so, why are the liberals posting this original article? The German government is just stating if you commit crimes, you will be deported. You liberals are the ones that have a problem with this.

Finished that accurately for you since you couldn't do it.

Great. Now, explain why you are outraged by Germany telling their citizens that if they commit crimes in the US that they will be deported - you know, the point of the original article.

You need me to explain Trump to you?

Figure it out. You pretend to have intelligence.

"You need me to explain Trump to you?
#19 | Posted by YAV"

No, you need to explain your mental gymnastics to maintain your perpetual state of outrage.

Here is the exact wording from the article:

""A criminal conviction in the United States, false information regarding the purpose of stay, or even a slight overstay of the visa upon entry or exit can lead to arrest, detention, and deportation upon entry or exit," according to the German Foreign Office advisory."

So, the Germans are simply telling their citizens to follow the law or they will face consequences inclusive of arrest and deportation.

What exactly are you outraged about here? You think we should allow German citizens to break the law without consequences? Please explain yourself as I fear your TDS has become a terminal case.

I will also add - what happens if you overstay your visa in Germany?

"Overstaying your visa in Germany is considered an illegal stay, leading to potential fines, deportation, and a ban from the Schengen area, with the severity of penalties depending on the length of the overstay and any mitigating circumstances."

So, again, where is the outrage when we are just following the same policy as every other country?

"even a slight overstay of the visa upon entry or exit can lead to arrest, detention, and deportation upon entry or exit"

Not what Trump is doing.

You understand this is shocking news because of what Trump is doing, right?

And what exactly is Trump doing other than enforcing our immigration laws as they are on the books? If you entered Germany illegally, what do you think they would do to you?

By German law, anybody arrested for any crime anywhere must be seen by a judge within 24 hours or they must be released: www.fairtrials.org
