"Given that American goods are no longer marketable in China under the current tariff rates, if the U.S. further raises tariffs on Chinese exports, China will disregard such measures," the Ministry of Finance said in a statement. The Commerce Ministry said in a separate statement that the numbers no longer had any "economic significance" and were just a "tool of bullying and coercion" that had turned the U.S. into a "joke."

True! A joke that has wiped $11 trillion from our stock market and allowed Trump to reap incredible personal profits from his stock manipulation. Trump built this recession and got American retirees to pay for it. The Orange Klepto is laughing all the way to the bank.

There is a fabulous post going around on social media about how this is really playing out in the minds of the leaders.

It notices that both Trump and Xi Jinping are Geminis.

They will match each other's energy forever!

For people who actually believe in Astrology, it makes sense that they would point it out.

America is spiraling out of control.
Astrology offers an explanation why.

Ha! Before Trump the economy was doing well, the US wasn't threatening its closest allies and trading partners, and the entire world wasn't treating the US with disdain and laughter.

Don't worry, I'm sure this will fix it like every other Republican policy.

Just like gutting education, infrastructure, and workers' rights.

And Donny folded. Or rather, co-president musk takes over. Tesla needs those chips.

Half of Trump's bankruptcies - that would be three - occurred in the casino business in which, as his buddy Steve Wynn (zero bankruptcies) once observed, it should be literally impossible for the house to lose.

And now Trunp's got Xi laughing at his colossal self-pantsing.
