China hasn't imported liquefied natural gas from the United States since early February, as the tariff war hit energy trade and could have long-term consequences for U.S. LNG export contracts.
China just ended US LNG imports.
Those imports only represented 3% of the LNG actually going into China BUT Chinese companies "accounted for 91% of worldwide purchases of LNG on long-term contracts." So all eyes on Europe.
