NEW: Metadata from the "raw" Epstein prison video shows approximately 2 minutes and 53 seconds were removed from one of two stitched-together clips. The cut starts right at the "missing minute."[image or embed]

From the link in #2

... Now, WIRED reports that one of the source clips was approximately 2 minutes and 53 seconds longer than the segment included in the final video, indicating that footage may have been trimmed before being released by the DOJ. ...

I had thought the DoJ previously stated that there would be a minute missing each day around midnight because needed to be "rebooted" so that it continued to work.

OK, that seemed odd to me on the surface because a surveillance system in a prison is not active routinely each day, even if only for a minute?

But now, it seems like there were close to three minutes of video missing and the remaining video looks like it has been edited?

Yeah... murdering him in his cell was apparently a 3 min job.

I would suspect Steve Bannon did it, but he's to fat to get around that quickly.

@#4 ... I would suspect ...

At this point, my main concern is ...

Why does the Trump admin seem to be making such a large effort to try to make this conspiracy theory, that Pres Trump had promoted, go away? Wasn't Pres Trump saying is would be a transparent Presidency?

That's what interests me most at this point.

Lara Trump says White House needs 'more transparency' on Epstein
www.politico.com

... Lara Trump, President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law and former co-chair of the Republican National Committee, said the White House needs to show "more transparency" in its handling of the investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. ...

My guess as to what may happen in the near future ...

The Trump DoJ will release some highly ~sanitized~ files (similar to the apparent ~sanitization~ of the video?) in hopes that the release will quell the uproar.

This is like Watergate except it is a murder that is being covered up.

And evidence related to the murder victim, evidence that would establish motive, is sitting on the FBI Director's desk.

If Republicans allow this to happen, and they are actively doing that, there won't be an America by the midterms.

My guess ...

Hoping, as Pres Trump seems to be, that this topic will disappear in the next news cycle.

@#13 ... Calling Friends to Tell Them to STFU About Epstein ...

So, trying to extinguish the symptom, instead of trying to resolve the problem?

Nope, nothing to see here, MAGAts.
Burp, grunt, and move along.

Waiting for Alex Acosta to explain that sweetheart deal he cut with Epstein.
The news of which Acosta failed to pass along to the man's victims.
Acosta went on to head up the Dept. of Labor ... under "former" Epstein buddy Trump
Acosta soon resigned because of heat generated by news of that sweetheart deal for Epstein.
Nope, nothing to see here.

Pam Bondi, and Donald Trump, are engaged in a cover up of Epstein.

Hard to come to a different conclusion.

#17 | Posted by Zed at 2025-07-16 08:28 AM | Reply

Anyone taking note of the "catastrophic failures of security" that are integral to events that benefited Donald Trump?

A "perfect storm" of Secret Service agents who, en masse, forget basic security protocols in Butler?

A "perfect storm" of security protocols in a prison that allowed the death of the highest value prisoner in the US at that time, Jeffrey Epstein?

I'm thinking that one reason that TRUMP/MAGA pitched their endless succession of conspiracy theories was to distract the larger public from the actual, concrete conspiracies.

Both the Trump "assassination" and the Epstein "suicide" stink to high heaven. They have this Orange smell to them.

And the GOP.

Sporkfoot took to -------- to post "The public needs to see the Epstein files" only to be dragged with a response "You just voted to block the release of them" not that it will matter to her or her idiot voters.

Nevermind, Folks.

We can retire this thread.

It's all a hoax according to Donald.

Alex Jones will be on air next week claiming its a government conspiracy to frame Trump.

Drumpty just claimed he told Bondi she could release the "credible" files.

I can imagine her releasing redacted PDFs, but forgetting to make the redactions permanent, LOL.

The edits occurred in May of this year so good luck trying to pin that on Biden.

The reason the videos weren't released under Biden is because the investigation into those linked to Epstein was ongoing. The investigation was closed early this month which is why Prince Andrew is now free to visit the US again without fear of arrest. www.marieclaire.com

That's how far out in la la land you live.

It's not the president's job create conspiracies or to coordinate with the DOJ or to call for the release of files in any ongoing investigation to the public.

I don't remember Biden even mentioning Epstein or any files regarding the case. It was definitely not one of his priorities.

You are asking why the President wouldn't interfere in what was an ongoing FBI investigation at the time.
That you would even feel the need to ask such a question explains a lot about the disdain that Trump supporters hold for justice.
