Sounds like kidnapping. I don't understand under what authority Texas officials feel they have a right to demand a police escort or they will hold you hostage. This has to be a violation of her civil rights, and any other politician who was coerced to sign the "permission slip" as well.

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch...

"Texas Republicans set to approve Trump-backed new congressional map after lengthy fight

Texas Republicans on Wednesday will take up a new state congressional map intended to flip five Democratic-held U.S. House seats in next year's midterm elections, after dozens of Democratic lawmakers ended a two-week walkout that had temporarily blocked its passage."

So Texas is so anti-American they're putting law enforcement tails on their legislators to ensure they can force through a mid-census cheat at the demand of the spray tanned turd occupying the White House?

So glad I left that place.

Texass should just F'ing secede already and be done with it. (and take Florida with 'em). It's obvious they don't want to participate in American democracy anymore.
