The Supreme Court rejected the federal government's request to deploy the National Guard in Illinois. It's time to let our troops go home to celebrate the holidays with their families -- and stay home.

"Three justices dissented from Tuesday's order. Justice Samuel Alito, in a 16-page decision joined by Justice Clarence Thomas, wrote that "[w]hatever one may think about the current administration's enforcement of the immigration laws or the way ICE has conducted its operations, the protection of federal officers from potentially lethal attacks should not be thwarted."

Justice Neil Gorsuch indicated that he too would have granted the government's request."

Not even all the rwingers can justify Trump's Gestapo measures. What they do seem to do is whine about how since they are already there, they have to be protected.

Making whatever their Cult Leader does a fait accompli. Which they can still do.

He started out as a spoiled brat, then Daddy left him a huge pile of money that he wasted.

Then he turned into a successful con artist and eventually became President.

Now he has a lot of money and power, but not much of a mind left.

And in the middle of that, he had an actual Mafia Don teach him how to commit crimes and get away with them.

You need to read the ruling...

Not even all the rwingers can justify Trump's Gestapo measures.

Supreme Court, in the dissent, confirms that Trump has the authority via the Insurrection Act to send in the US Military.

SC is basically saying Trump has been playing nice.

Supreme Court, in the dissent

Also know as the opinion of the losers.

I did. As I do with most court rulings. Your interpretation of this case is off base. The Court said the Buffoon ain't showed legal authority to do this. Yet. The Buffoon fights another day. So sayeth the SC.

I'm guessing you're not familiar with court procedure but dissents don't mean s**t.

You need to educate yourself upon the subject matter at hand. Dissent does not a ruling make. It's the losing opinion. Not the winning one.

OK, Pres Trump lost this one

What will be his next step regarding Chicago?

Will he have ICE try to provoke riots even more than they seem to be doing?

And if he succeeds at that, what would be his next tactic?

Invoking the Insurrection Act because of the riots?

Stated differently, Pres Trump's end-goal seems to be canceling elections How might he get there?
