Back in the day, I went to the local YMCA for exercise. The exercise area was an area off the pool area.

Between sets I used to wander out to the pool area and talk with the lifeguard on duty.

One thing I noticed, as we were talking, he always had his eyes focused upon the people in the pool. He did not look at me. I admired him for that.

At one point, he showed me the clipboard that the lifeguards used while on duty.

Written by a lifeguard on that clipboard was the quoted song title, "Haunted When The Minutes Drag."
