President Trump on Sunday said that he is "not looking to kill people" as he seeks a deal with Iran, telling reporters that negotiations with Iranian officials are set for Monday. Trump told reporters on Air Force One that the latest round of talks was orchestrated by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. He said the U.S. had "an attack planned that would have been the biggest attack since World War II" on Iran before the Gulf countries reached out to the U.S. "We're ready to go any time we want," he said about the potential for the U.S. striking back at Iran. "Would I rather make a deal? I'm not looking to kill people. People die. A lot of people die and we don't want that."
