The video comes "Nearly a week after the Indian government acknowledged that some youths from Telangana, Karnataka and other districts were duped into the Russian Army."
Earlier article about those other Indians: Indians are unwittingly recruited into the Russian army: "Twenty or so rural workers and unemployed people, who thought they had landed a job in Dubai, were instead sent to fight in Ukraine."

Translation of the Twitter image: Seven Indian citizens published an appeal in which they stated that they were forced to fight in Ukraine on the side of the Russian Federation.
After 15 days of training, they were sent to "a place where there is a war." First they came to the Russian Federation to celebrate the New Year, they were offered to visit Belarus, they agreed. "We didn't know we needed a visa," says one of the men.
After that, the police detained them and handed over the fish. Then they were "forced to sign documents." They were explained that the alternative to serving in the Russian army could be imprisonment for 10 years.

I'll wager that more than a few MAGA kooks would join the Russian Army, if asked, given uniforms with Russian patches on the shoulders, and allowed to wear their Maga-Hats into battle. Hijinks would ensue when the Ukrainian drones start arriving. No word on whether their orange idol would describe them as patriots, strong or losers...

Well, they were offered a job and they got one. However, the benefits package isn't very good.
