I don't have any evidence, but am pretty sure that somewhere sometime Kari Lake has drowned a bag of kittens.

This list though, looks like a list of people you would not let babysit your children.

Just sayin'.

Please pick MTG. It would probably turn off even more voters.

What does she bring?" Jennings said of Noem. "The possibility of weirdo drama. That's it. She appeals to no constituency Trump doesn't already have."

Mmmm... pretty sure she appeals to the constituency of one; Trump's Shroom.

She would be one in a long line of decorative pieces he likes to display in his immediate vicinity, for others to wonder if he's schtupping.

Vance, or Stephanik.

The others are worse jokes. And Trump likes nothing more than a turncoat.

If I had to pick - Vance.

They're planning on running a convicted felon for POTUS this year, why does anyone think they care about a dead puppy? Repubicans aren't good people, they don't care about 6 year olds getting shot in the face, why would they care about a puppy?

Hmm...what is the path that American democracy will take?
Hitler's accession to power was a path given to him, and, well, just read, from Wikipedia..
" Hindenburg appointed Hitler as Chancellor of Germany in January 1933. Upon Hindenburg's death in 1934 Hitler de facto assumed the presidency, which he combined with the chancellorship to become the Fhrer und Reichskanzler. Therefore, the 1932 election was the last presidential election in Germany until 1949 ".
And, of course,"The Reichstag fire of 27 February was used as a pretext by Hitler to issue the Reichstag Fire Decree, which nullified constitutional protections of free speech and other civil liberties.[46] Reichstag elections in March gave him a working majority, and he assumed dictatorial powers with the passage of the Enabling Act on 23 March.[46] Hitler succeeded Hindenburg as head of state upon his death in 1934, whereafter he abolished the office entirely and replaced it with the new position of Fhrer und Reichskanzler, cementing his rule until his suicide during World War II in 1945".
You know Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon have those facts memorized.

CHUFFY

"why does anyone think they care about a dead puppy?"

They don't. But they do care about animal lovers among the voting public. Which is no small thing.

President Johnson got crucified by animal lovers for picking up one of his Beagle dogs by the ears.

Kristi Noem shot her dog! It's all about image. What kind of monster shoots a puppy?

Kristi Noem, that's who. Kristi Noem is a monster. Trump might love her but nobody else will. And that's what counts.

Not to mention that the media would label her a psycho.

I think with a little research we will find that all of these people have shot dogs. Or crushed hamsters.

Not making a joke here.

ZED

Well, Mitt Romney did strap his car sick dog with diarrhea to the top of his car. And he IS a Republican, albeit somewhat of a fallen angel in the ranks.

It's still cruelty to animals.

I remember when Romney was CEO of Bain Capital, he was cruel to a lot of defenseless people, too. Draining their pension funds two weeks before they retired and some such things.

But, if you plunder this group of talent, who will chair the small business committee, or govern a state run by a keno machine?

Tough choices.

Not sure which one I would want to hang 4 years from now.

Mostly a rogue's gallery of gimps, freaks, toadies and sycophants. Any of them with a possibility of being picked (Sorry there, Mitt) would be as over-matched on the world stage as Der Dotard was in his administration. Deer in the headlights. The worst part is that none of these losers would be able to articulate a vision for this country, beyond the daily fulfillment of Der Dotard's daily whims. Like them or hate them, VPs of the stature of Biden, Darth Cheney and Poppy Bush meant that the US was sending out into the world people who had been around the block, knew people and things and spent their time advancing the message of the administration and government they represented. Imagine most of these people being sent overseas--they would act like tourists, insult their hosts with boorish behavior, make inane comments in speeches, wear the wrong shoes, fart in public, try to shake the wrong hands and sneer at the food and drinks served at state dinners. Maybe Ivanka will get the job-smart, reserved, has some manners, probably smells nice and has the sort of curves that would hold the attention of her hosts...

Imagine the following:

PO1135809 gets elected. PO1135809 dies suddenly, two years into his second term. Who takes his place, from the short list? Here's how PO1135809 called each of them onto the stage the other day:

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) " "His name is coming up a lot for vice president!"
Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) " "As a candidate he did a good job, but as a surrogate he's unbelievable."
Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) " "He wasn't a supporter of mine at the very beginning... He was saying things like 'the guy's a total disaster' ... any ways I got to know him a little bit... As a non politician, he's become one of the great senators."
Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) " "I love your haircut! ... And he's a good man too."
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) " "[When she ran in 2018] she was like the energizer bunny. She would go from stop to stop to stop."
North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum " "I didn't know this: He was a supporter of my two campaigns. He's a very rich man."
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem " "Somebody that I love. She's been with me, a supporter of mine and I've been a supporter of hers for a long time. "
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) " "A very smart person. She was in upstate New York when I met her ... little did we realize she would be such a big factor."
Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) " "Somebody who's created something very special politically...I like diversity. Diversit as you would say. I like diversit. [Donors] worth millions of dollars...all want a piece of Byron."
Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Tex.) " "Another friend of mine... makes the best commercials ... beautiful family."
Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) " "A man that knows more about the military. When I want to know about the military, I call him."

Pick one who anyone wants to succeed PO1135809 as POTUS.
