They're planning on running a convicted felon for POTUS this year, why does anyone think they care about a dead puppy? Repubicans aren't good people, they don't care about 6 year olds getting shot in the face, why would they care about a puppy?

President Johnson got crucified by animal lovers for picking up one of his Beagle dogs by the ears.

Kristi Noem, that's who. Kristi Noem is a monster. Trump might love her but nobody else will. And that's what counts.

Not to mention that the media would label her a psycho.

Well, Mitt Romney did strap his car sick dog with diarrhea to the top of his car. And he IS a Republican, albeit somewhat of a fallen angel in the ranks.

It's still cruelty to animals.

I remember when Romney was CEO of Bain Capital, he was cruel to a lot of defenseless people, too. Draining their pension funds two weeks before they retired and some such things.

Mostly a rogue's gallery of gimps, freaks, toadies and sycophants. Any of them with a possibility of being picked (Sorry there, Mitt) would be as over-matched on the world stage as Der Dotard was in his administration. Deer in the headlights. The worst part is that none of these losers would be able to articulate a vision for this country, beyond the daily fulfillment of Der Dotard's daily whims. Like them or hate them, VPs of the stature of Biden, Darth Cheney and Poppy Bush meant that the US was sending out into the world people who had been around the block, knew people and things and spent their time advancing the message of the administration and government they represented. Imagine most of these people being sent overseas--they would act like tourists, insult their hosts with boorish behavior, make inane comments in speeches, wear the wrong shoes, fart in public, try to shake the wrong hands and sneer at the food and drinks served at state dinners. Maybe Ivanka will get the job-smart, reserved, has some manners, probably smells nice and has the sort of curves that would hold the attention of her hosts...
