I swear, I want to personally meet the millionaire who supports this. Very likely they won't exit the meeting alive.

Hey, remind me, what's that fruit fly that ruins orange crops? And is there an insecticide-resistant variant of it? Just asking questions.
I'm thinking it might be in Florida's best interest NOT to pass this. After all, they wouldn't want anybody to get any ideas about creative ways to prevent child exploitation in the state's agribusiness.

"eliminating working time restrictions on teenagers aged 14 and 15 if they are home-schooled"
Because home-schooled kids have plenty of time on their hands. There's no homework when they're home-schooled, am I right?
"ending guaranteed meal breaks for 16 and 17 year olds"
What? They're not even allowed to eat?
Working days and nights for little pay. No protections or benefits. Not even time to eat. This really is setting up children for the future - a future under Republican leadership.

The state's legislature on Tuesday advanced a bill that would loosen child labor laws, allowing children as young as 14 years old to work overnight shifts. If the new law is passed, teenagers would be able to work overnight jobs on school days. [...] and ending guaranteed meal breaks for 16 and 17 year olds.
This is good preparation for the life the GOP intends for all those who didn't plan ahead by being born into the 1%.

The proposed law is for young teens. Young, brown-skinned, Spanish-speaking teens. White people will no longer do stoop labor in this country...

allowing children as young as 14 years old to work overnight shifts.
Child prostitution is going to skyrocket in Florida and Trump and Gaetz are there for it.

Eating is reserved for the rich.
Poor people should be thankful they have a job.

The same people bitching about this will purchase things from third-world countries, made by children in single digit years old while locked in an unsafe factory for 12 hour shifts.
It's not inhumane to allow teenagers to work hard, in fact, it's why a lot of our successful grandparents were successful.

So ... are you saying you're in favor of turning America into a third-world country?
Seems like you stepped in your own shht here.
Well done ...
Bravo ...

"it's why a lot of our successful grandparents were successful."
A lot of our successful grandparents were successful because they worked before 1975.
Success was widespread after WWII and before 1975.
We changed the rules in 1975 so that only the top 20% of households got practically all the gains in household income.
Before 1975, gains also went to the bottom 80% of households.

That's why Trump is so rotten, never had to work, never learned to understand what the real world is.
