Liberation Day. Yes.

We will remember it forever.

That's when Americans were liberated from their jobs and their paychecks and then their Democracy.

Stellantis has announced it would idle plants and begin layoffs.

-They were going to do that anyway, because people are realizing that the cars are poorly made.

They were going to do that anyway, because people are realizing that the cars are poorly made.

That makes little sense since the whole point of the tariffs is to force people to buy poorly made American built cars.

------ products and mismanagement will do that. They've been trying to figure out what to do with nearly 3 years of new cars still on the lots for a while now. But continue making an ass out of yourselves - bUh tHe tArIfFs!!!!!

Meanwhile, GM boosts light truck production in Indiana and Ford is extending employee pricing to everyone.

Those UAW guys and gals must really appreciate how the leader of their organization sold out his own members, cheering on the guy who openly lied about getting more auto worker jobs in the US ...

getting more auto worker jobs in the US ...

I'm sure Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes will have new plants up and running in Detroit by 2092.

Did you two get fecal transplants from Stephen Miller!? Stop acting returded, the purpose isn't creeper foreplay online but to temporarily hijack the economy to squeeze out another 1.5 trillion for a total billionaire tax break of six trillion. The exact amount that DOGE and the tariffs "generate". Then the tariffs will be lifted.

Well, maybe all those "Guts, Glory, RAM" fans will buy them instead.

I have a Indiana Subaru! Best car I ever had. Eight years old and drives just as good as the loaner they dangled at me when I took it in for service.

Cars are just a bit too too techy now. I am the year or two before CarPlay made it into Subaru and I couldn't be happier.

The auto manufacturers ------ up when they let Sirius/XM on board. They lost ownership of the platform.

I added an extra screen to my car to get CarPlay. Could have replaced the APIM, but the extra screen is even bigger than the built in one, and I like having more screens because the built in one is only 10".

Car companies are all s--tty, they deserve to lose control.

Lack of CarPlay is why I'd never have considered a Turdla even before I knew Elmo was a Nazi. Those screens are just too awkward to add an extra in a useful location. It's also why I'm not gonna buy a GM until they re-enable CarPlay.

The local RAM/Jeep/Stellantis dealer had tons of unsold RAM trucks in an area where they sell a lot of RAM/Jeep vehicles.

Now they moved off all the unsold inventory went out of business and the lot is becoming a Subaru dealer. The Subaru was connected to the Ford dealership across the street also with tons of trucks and cars on its lot. Foothill North California small town.
