REPORTER: Is there pain in the market at some point you're unwilling to tolerate? TRUMP: I think your question is so stupid. I don't want anything to go down, but sometimes you have to take medicine to fix something.

How Apple 'flew' 5 flights full of iPhones from India and China in 3 days to beat Trump Tariffs
timesofindia.indiatimes.com

... Apple transported five planes full of iPhones and other products from India to the US in just three days during the final week of March, a senior Indian officials confirmed to The Times of India. The urgent shipments were made to avoid a new 10% reciprocal tariff imposed by US President Donald Trump's administration that took effect on April 5. Sources said that Apple currently has no plans to increase retail prices in India or other markets despite the tariffs.

To mitigate the impact, the company rapidly moved inventory from manufacturing centres in India and China to the US, even though this period is typically a slow shipping season.

"Factories in India and China and other key locations had been shipping products to the US in anticipation of the higher tariffs," according to one source. ...

Average Americans have been "taking our mrdicine for a long time; since Reagan and his stupid "trickle down economics." Trump's medicine is more of the same medicine with more tax cuts for the rich while the rest of us take more medicine while waiting for the trickle down that never comes. I think it's time for the rich to take their medicine and accept significantly higher taxes. FDR thought 90% was a good tax rate; I don't think I would want it that high but it would have to be enough to make a good dent in the national debt.

"Wall Street Turns on Trump: Musk, Ackman, Druckenmiller Sound the Alarm

3:23 PM EDT

Wall Street just got loud and it's not cheering.

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk, Pershing Square's Bill Ackman (Trades, Portfolio), and hedge legend Stanley Druckenmiller (Trades, Portfolio) are now openly throwing punches at the Trump administration's tariff plans, warning they could trigger a full-blown market meltdown.

What started as scattered criticism has snowballed into a rare, public revolt from some of the most influential voices in investing.

Even JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon, once cautiously optimistic, is waving a red flag in his latest letter: We're not in Kansas anymore. Meanwhile, markets continue their slide, with uncertainty mounting by the hour."

I want to see more videos of the Democrats throwing tantrums over not getting their cheap Chinese crap addiction fulfilled.

I think it was universally accepted (at least when Democrats were still at least partially sane) that cheap Chinese imports were bad for the US economy. What has changed now Democrats?

All I know is I was happily retired living modestly off the interest of my savings, now I'm probably going to have to go back to work so I don't use all my capital. Or I could just plan on dying 10 years earlier.
Thanks Dotard.
