"In a post on Truth Social on Monday, Trump called James a "wacky crook".
"Letitia James, a totally corrupt politician, should resign from her position as New York State Attorney General, immediately," he wrote.
Trump's family business was found liable in 2023 of falsifying records and financial statements in order to get better terms on loans and insurance deals."

And Republicans are too stupid to understand.

In the run up to the election, we constantly heard "lock them up" as a frequent statement against anyone who held Trump responsible.
When asked "on what charge," the usual answer was "we'll find some."
This seems to be the beginning of that.

I'll make you a bet, if the case isn't overturned on appeal I won't post for a year, if it is you won't.
And back to the subject, so James buys a house in Virginia and claims it as her primary residence to get a lower rate while to be AG in NY needs to have her primary residence there. Then she buys a 5 unit in NY and claims it is a 4 unit to get a better rate. And the best one, has her father sign on that he is her husband to get a better rate.
The low lifes that the Dems used to try and keep Trump from running really mirrors the Democratic party. But I'll give James the benefit of the doubt, she figured if Trump didn't get elected she would get away with it. This is becoming a trend.

This is becoming a trend.

From what I have read - she has several properties that she purchased that she listed a primary residence in the mortgage application, not just one listed in the article. And, no one accidentally describes a 5 unit as a 4 unit on a loan application.

Trump is.
SCOTUS said so. 5-4 decision, predictable partisan breakdown.
Trump is a vindictive Petty Tyrant.
The highest court in the land gave him Carte Blanche to do almost anything as long as it's even tangentially "official".
30% of the country are rabidly for this lunatic.
He's breaking everything at warp speed in a blitzkrieg of Executive orders of mostly illegal, Immoral, and sometimes even criminal character.
We're ------....
Best Case, the damage this Bozo is going to do is Immense.

Show us the evidence.
Have you seen it?
File the case. You won't hear Dems saying "The Judge is crooked!" If the evidence is there, you won't hear Dems saying "It's a witch hunt!" and "The law is novel and never been used like this...except the last 100 times but those don't count!"
That's a YOU thing.

Should she be given a trial first?
Is this still Lawfare now that Trump isn't the person being charged with possible mortgage fraud? Or is Lawfare reserved for when Trump is being charged?

It is necessary retaliation and exactly what you were told would happen. Use the Democrat new normal against them so they realize how horrible their abuse has been. Only then will the Democrats stop their constant redefining behavior to become ever more abusive.
