"I don't know what happened in Wisconsin, but amplifying this arrest as the Attorney General and FBI Director have done looks like part of a larger intimidation campaign against judges," @whitehouse.senate.gov said Friday. rhodeislandcurrent.com/2025/04/25/r ...

Why is she getting Due Process?

Maybe a Republican can explain why she gets Due Process, but others charged with immigration crimes don't get Due Process.

Liberals can come cry about this when CNN is tipped in advance and they arrest her at 5AM with a full swat team. Until then, suffer silently. You created this - now you are reaping what you sowed.

Let me guess - you once threw a boomerang and were shocked and outraged when it returned and hit you in your smug liberal face.

The real question is: why do liberals believe this judge is 'above the law' when they have been chanting the exact opposite since they started their lawfare against Trump? The story is about how liberals are outraged that the arrest pictures were published - NOT ABOUT THE CRIMES SHE COMMITTED. As I have always said - liberals WANT illegal immigration.

Sounds like you still are clueless on why it hit you in the mouth. I mean, you threw it away from you so you had nothing to do with it, right?

What law has she broken? Other than defying Trump?

Republicans are blind if they can't see how they're behaving mirrors exactly what Nazis supporters did in Germany in the early 1930s.

The perp walk is new, but unfortunately you're right the Lumpers were salivating at this when it was Trump or Stone, or even J6ers

Maybe a Republican can explain why she gets Due Process, but others charged with immigration crimes don't get Due Process.

Define "due process", if your response is only the judicial branch can satisfy "due process", your wrong.

Maybe Democrats will actually understand that concept the next time they are in power so they stop trying to define an ever abusive 'new normal'. Until then, enjoy the perp walks, lawsuits, and investigations as that is the precedent you supported and you created. And next time, expect the boomerang to return to ensure it doesn't knock the teeth out of your smug liberal face. Although the lack of teeth may make you more popular in your militant homosexual clique - it is general looked down upon in polite society.

I don't seem to recall believing that, can you fill me in on the details?

I believe she's entitled to Due Process, is that what you're calling 'above the law' now?

Sounds to me that Trump 2.0 wanted to start arresting judges and set this particular judge up to be the carnary in the coal mine so to speak:

Asha Rangappa
@asharangappa.bsky.social
Seeing claims about the judge "hiding" the defendant. Read the complaint, folks (written by DOJ). The guy was literally in the public area where the agents were. I guess he got on an elevator before they could get to him. The complaint says after letting the defendant exit she came back to the bench

TK
@tkeck44.bsky.social

A DEA agent who was part of the arrest team rode down in the elevator with the guy they came to arrest!

Why didn't that agent make the arrest then or the second he exited the courthouse?

They are going to start arresting priests of charges who take in immigrants and mayors of sanctuary cities. That's my guess:

Trump EO puts sancturary cities on notice

President Trump will sign an executive order on Monday that will direct his administration to compile a list of sanctuary cities that are in violation of federal immigration laws. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem will be directed to "provide a list of sanctuary cities in which local officials are not complying with this federal order and are not complying with federal immigration laws," press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday, adding that the published list will include "state and local jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of federal immigration laws."

Trump 2.0 taking incremental steps toward authoritarianism, and all the usual suspects are rushing in to defendt hem:

That's the Fact, Jack!
@thatsthefactjack.bsky.social

THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONTEXT

Our system--based in federalism--says the feds can't compel local officials to enforce federal civil law.

That's backed by SCOTUS:
Printz v. U.S. (1997)
Murphy v. NCAA (2018)

States are not ICE deputies.

THIS IS BIGGER THAN ONE JUDGE

It's about the future of judicial independence, state sovereignty, and the separation of powers.

They're not waiting for new laws. They're testing how far they can go without them.

IF YOU THINK IT STOPS HERE"THINK AGAIN

Today it's Judge Dugan.
Tomorrow it could be your governor.

Your election official.

Your school board.

Or you.

Authoritarianism doesn't arrive in a flash. It creeps quietly.

And they aren't getting paid by the Federal Government for their work?

You skipped Due Process when you were born in the United States.
You're saying it's okay to send you to El Salvador without Due Process.

Maybe Trumpy should set an example then and show us how it's done.

If the president is above the law then there is no law. Only the whims of a mad king.

And you really don't know or understand Americans do you?

Sometimes you just have to sit in the front of the bus no matter what the fricking "law" says.
